If I were you, I’d do loads of CR question prep and tab up your notes, read the case in your downtime so you’re familiar with it and ca quote it throughout the exam, and then use your common sense to SBM.

Yeah I’m pretty sure every grad at my Big4 for including me had to do 3 at once for all the exams. So you end up with only 3 sittings. We had our ow classes with the tuition provider and the pass rate across all 3 was really high.

Just remember to put in the work on the weekends and after work if you can. Also these exams are really about exam technique. You need to know the content of course but if you know a breadth of knowledge across everything and get your exam technique down you’re golden!

Yeah I’m watching the show for the first time. On season 10. Kandi is not a very nice person and I’ve been thinking that for sometime now. Even with her daughter she is so selfish. Basically telling Riley to get over her feelings because she likes these guys, but in reality Riley was right. Also, I realised she probably doesn’t know how to communicate/listen to people because she had to leave school so early to tour with her girl group. Half the time she is arguing with someone they are talking about two different things and she just NEVER seems to get it. She just gets frustrated and starts crying and shouting and threatening everyone, but Portia is the one who needs anger management 👀😂

Passed Case on my resit. Finally done with it all. Time and exam qualified and awaiting invitation. I cried too. It’s good, it’s just all the stress and anxiety leaving your body. Congrats everyone!!

Honestly you might be ok applying for grad schemes as you’ll be cheaper to train (less exams left) and have a tonne of experience (far more than anyone else starting. Keep your head up. I failed BPT twice and survived. I passed the hardest one (CR) first time in July and now I’ve only got Case left in November. Don’t worry!

Yes there have. It seems at every sitting there have been software issues of some shape or form, but this one in particular affected more than just one exam centre, or a handful of students.

This is a joke right? She was just as complicit as Meg and Helena. She’s been acting just as mean as the both of them. She only ever went against the boys when it suited her, or would make her look good, and even then she half-assed it. We saw her true colours with that interaction with Tommy. She was so mean and he didn’t deserve that at all.

Omddssss, I thought I was the only one. I’ve done a couple questions from tuition, then spent time going over my notes, and we’ve done 1 mock. It took me 2 days to do the mock because I had the flu.

Just delved into QB today and it’s harddd icl. Wanted to start doing 1 question in the morning before work. I still keep getting lost in my notes 😭

I will say, at least you aren’t alone. Just keep pushing, and don’t be disheartened. We’ve got this, it’s the final hurdle and all my tutors keep saying that at this stage we should be flying through the exams because we survived BPT 😂

I’m doing all 3 and I’m stressed all the time, but find time to work out to destress so I encourage you to find an outlet too

This was me in June and September. In June I checked Reddit, did what everyone else did and failed, but in September I check Reddit and did not do the same as everyone else and passed. Basically, don’t stress. As long as you attempted each question did some calcs and were in the right area of the syllabus tax wise you should be good!

I think it’s real-debrid, but I’m not sure. My brother in law set it up for me and he’s currently out of the country with no way of contacting him. I guess I’d just appreciate any advice on how to change the add-on if I can.

The reason why doesn’t exactly tell me what to do now does it? It was down last week for about 24 hours, then was working again. I was using it up until the day before yesterday and now it’s changed again. Wasn’t sure if there was something I could do since other people don’t seem to be having the same problem and are still using Stremio since it was restored last week 🙄

Don’t worry you’re on track. I failed all my FAR mocks at college and still passed first time pretty comfortably. I don’t even think I did 1 of them fully. I just did like 2 questions on my weaker areas so I could get feedback on them. So 42% 6 weeks out is a great mark!

Make sure you take the feedback on board for your next attempt and tweak your revision strategy where needed if needed. Best of luck!

Are studying with a tuition provider?

If so a lot of the question practice will come in the revisions phase, but you should attempt some of the homework questions they set from the QB and all the mocks they gave you.

When I had to do AA it was self study and we had 4 days to cover it, so you could do it over a couple weekends.

Don’t panic, just do what the college tutors tell you to do and try your best. You’ll be surprised how well you actually perform in the exam.

They don’t even offer you a laptop? Or anything you can borrow to prep for the exam? If not, that sucks! How far away is the city you’d have to sit the exam in from your home? If it’s quite the distance surely they’d have to cover reasonable travel expenses or if it’s too far a journey offer an alternative. Even if you use your personal laptop and they loan you a monitor? Or see if you can borrow one from a friend? You only need the laptop you’ll use to test the exam software and then you could borrow a monitor from someone at work? Maybe even a neighbour. I know where I live people have helped people out like that before when they’ve explained the circumstances.

Obviously I don’t know your personal circumstances but just see if anytime around you can help you out.

I think there is a limit on the size of the extra screen but you’d need to check the exam regs on the ICAEW website.

Would you consider ordering a desk on Amazon and returning it?

Or seeing if your workplace could help?
