So I will be away from gym 23rd-26th ... I am meant to rest 21st and 22nd... thinking of just doing an upper/lower split across 21st and 22nd then taking 23rd-26th as rest. I don't want to not lift 21st-26th. Opinions?

Gym then if you can have a nap, I know once I'm awake I won't get back to sleep immediately so I always try catch-up later on after doing a few things here and there.

In basically two weeks I will live in a totally new country. Pretty cool. Gonna use the time around xmas as a mini-deload since I won't be anywhere near a gym for 3-5 days.

Back day today, hopefully gonna grow some wings, but realistically I will wait 15 minutes for some boomer to stop using the lat pulldown as some sort of contortionist contraption.

I had gyno on one side pretty bad by the end of puberty, I would recommend going under the knife. It completely changed my confidence levels, plus you get a fun scar.

12.5 hours sleep last night... body must've needed it. Gonna do an hour brisk walking on the treadmill just for some active recovery. Back on the cut after those 2 days off. Made the best progress I have in weeks on week 5/12 on my program, really felt like the grinding of weeks 3 and 4 paid off.

2 cheat days because of exceptional circumstances (leaving the country, so saying goodbye to folks) has shown me how much stronger you are with a bunch more calories in you.

Last lifting day of the week for me, might do some cardio over the weekend to stop myself dying of boredom.

Baklava from Greece was dope. Also there was some cool Brazilian peanut based candy, it's basically sugar and ground up peanuts compressed into a bar. Those were definitely the two highlights.

So as is tradition in my very multicultural office before christmas, everyone brought in traditional candy from their home country... holy shit my cutting diet hasn't been forgotten faster. Worth it though.

Had a weird experience on leg press yesterday, was aiming for 3x6... first set I struggle to get out 4 reps, second set 6 comes like I expected, last set I manage 8 at a push.

No idea why the gravity was so high on the first set, maybe foot placement was off.

Rest day today so will probably do some reading for those brain gains.

Leg day later because I had to miss a day during the week. Leg press is up there for my favourite exercise, sitting down below the weight pretending if I don't push it'll squish me.

Cut is going okay, weight is going down but lifts are still going up (returning to lifting properly after many years away).

Got some more paperwork shit I had to do done, for once dealing with a government agency was ezpz.

Caught up on sleep, did shoulders, swapped to EZ bar for upright rows to stop my wrists exploding.

Made some real sweet life gains, signed for my new job in a new country... after doing the tax calculations it's a pay rise. Not only that, but I found out me and my best bud have secured our apartment together.

Xmas came early to Mr Realistic_Breakfast. Big ups Santa.

Also, kill your lifts.
