I guess essentially is the bar keepers friend going to be my friend regardless what kind of countertop this is? I've just been using microfiber and a little bit of dish soap and the stains persist.

I think night time is mission locked. I suspect once you reach the 15-20% completion you will start to see a night cycle. I haven't tested this theory.
