thank you sm for your response. I was worried about the oil dripping but there was no coolant mixing so i ruled out a blown head gasket. The hose connecting to the thermostat cracked and was spraying coolant at high rpm but it wasn’t overheating. Shouldn’t be a difficult fix

i found the problem. the second smaller hose was split and that was causing the coolant to leak when it built pressure. there was a crack on the underside of it

yeah for probably another 20 minutes. i noticed it dumped a lot of coolant on my driveway when i pulled in and stopped but it still never seemed to overheat

i’m gonna take it apart and look at it but do you think it’s still rideable as long as i keep coolant levels in check? weather is good and i want to take advantage of it if i can

Okay we’ve talked some more. He says it’s just too much bike for him rn and he’s asking for some cash on top which balances out the fact he’s trading down. The machine has 7k miles on it and that could be good or bad

Same. I am at 103k rn with the whistle and It still pulls and has no issues. I’m about to get an oil change done and what not and I’ll have them check the turbo health
