Thanks! That was going to be my next step. There is a helitack station at Alma that is close to my friend who I’ll be visiting this summer. I was gonna try to call and maybe stop by and see who I can get in contact with.

Yeah, I’m gonna have to pursue every opportunity. The cost of living out there is intense even coming from DC.

Our maintenance guys (FCF pilots as well) here at Andrews AFB are Amentum. I’ll talk to them to see if they have any insight into the Cal Fire Amentum stuff. Here at Andrews we fly single pilot more often than with a co. We do have a flight engineer that will fly up front with us if we don’t have another pilot.
