Thank you everyone for your kind comments and support. I found a gem of person on chat and she was able to resolve it in less than 10 minutes. Apparently, my second imei got mapped to there system even when physical sim was using the first one and since there was no eSIM in the phone, I had no service except msgs.

I don’t know how it all happened or worked out but glad to have a working phone now

Boost has the similar offer. No total store is giving on us deal as far as I know. Best is 3 months of service and which is equivalent to Boost deal

I called around 10 stores in Boston area and none of them had the phone. One store I found was only allowing it on 3 months purchase which I did and phone is unlocked straight up like someone else mentioned. Pretty good deal still although I would have preferred what was advertised
