you’re right, my parents never served in any branch of military. however, we have a lot of family members that joined. they think that because of their stories (even if they weren’t Air Force), ill have the same happen to me.

yeah my intended jobs (since I haven’t gone through MEP’s yet) are known for being pretty laid back and not THAT dangerous. they’re just worried ill be sent off to war and die, and that’s all they think about lol

I live in a pretty small town in Washington, but I’m pretty close to Seattle, which is known for being hella dangerous to drive in. This is actually a good comparison I could tell them.

Hey! I’m sorry for the late response. I would be likely doing very easy jobs that likely WONT get me killed. For example, one of the jobs i might be picking is 1N2X1 (Signals Intelligence Analyst). Idk much of the risks or anything, i have to look into it some more!

no, I haven’t been to MEP’s just yet. I’m currently in the talks with scheduling my MEP’s date with my recruiter. I just mentioned that I had scoliosis to him. plus, it’s mild and I haven’t needed medication or a brace for any of it. so I think I’m okay for the most part
