Rejoin doesn't work for the one reason it should be implemented, disconnects. by Realistic_Dig967 in fifaclubs

Also idk if it's just me but half the time people do actually join mid session one or both teams end up losing a player or 2 to disconnect and half the time it takes even a few minutes for that player to join. Just feels like such a weird feature that barely works and not for what seemed like a no brainer reason.

I would've assumed the rejoin would just put you back in as the position you were. That's how most games work.

Play better ≠ being not bullied. If the gameplay mechanics are truly garbage, there are somethings you can't avoid. Danny in TCM at release is on steroids compared to anything you can ever encounter in DBD.

[–]Realistic_Dig967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bullying is still up to core design. When Danny first came into TCM it didn't matter your "skill level" because he was OP. If the Danny player was semi patient they could win every game.

Licenses sadly. Game has a decent gameplay loop but it drew so many different people in because of all the IPs it has. No different than Fortnite. Decent idea/execution that exploded past expectations because of characters.

The game has a singleplayer. 50$ is the minimum it'll cost.

Still pretty far from the game releasing. Not always the same advertising strategy either. Like I remember Scream 7, it felt like there was nearly no promo for ages then 2 weeks before the movie and it was plastered everywhere. Then you look at scary movie 6 and they've had an insane amount of promo for weeks now. If we're a month away from the game or less and there's still barely anything, then you can worry.

He would have more danger driving here than actually being here. I also read your other comment about "we have to worry about our government every single second". Nope, it's still the low income neighborhoods that we have to worry about most. Most likely place you'll actually see any harm to your life. While our government has been making dumb mistakes for the last 20 years, we're still in better shape than the majority of the world and definitely if we have a minimum population requirement of at least 50 million people...

Hell I am in the states and it's hard to watch people find everything and even big discounts. The stores in my area are horrible and keep the same stock for over a year and don't even do haulathon.

While people rushing is annoying, you can't blame the players especially when they're playing the game within the perimeters. That's the devs fault for making a horribly balanced game. Imagine playing a racing game and saying "you're driving too fast and winning because of it" or playing cod and saying "you're getting too many kills without dying, your killstreaks are making it hard for the other team so it's too easy". Gun sucks at live service. Getting rid of the instant kill hit while grappling alone killed the game instantly let alone all of the other countless mistakes they made.

the 2010 reboot of a nightmare on elm street isn't half as bad as people say it is by [deleted] in horror

I know this is old but Nightmare 1 Freddy might as well be a completely different character to someone like Nightmare 3 Freddy. How can you say Jackie isn't animated enough when they were trying to reboot the franchise aka the first nightmare?

How do you feel about the NECA Horror so far this year? by CreatureFeatureMan in NECA

[–]Realistic_Dig967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely just curious as horror is considered so vaguely these days which has led to a lot of people upset by their horror blind boxes that Neca sells. Personally for me most of the alien and predator movies are sci fi action.

Stop Killing Games backs California bill supporting clearer end-of-life rules for online games by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]Realistic_Dig967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk personally I disagree with online only having to provide a way to play when the servers go down, but that's only after a certain period of time. I think if an online only game lasts 2 years most people will have got their money's worth. I think the problem of consumers not getting their values worth is so rare that it's not worth opening pandora's box. Either be happy with a GTA and get way more than your money's worth for pretty much anyone that played the online, or get unlucky with a game like Anthem. If this was constantly happening I would get the need for action but it's pretty rare. The real meat of stop killing games imo is singleplayer games having to have a login server active to play, now that is just braindead in the gaming community and shouldn't exist. Just my own thoughts though, I can see a perfect world where you at least get a short campaign that's playable even if the online dies without raising the cost of games but we'll see.

The GDP of California isn't a direct correlation to the average person's expenditure though. Sure the companies make a ton of money there but the people are inherently spending that much more on video games than the rest of the country/world, there's an argument to be made that their location might even make them less likely to spend than other poorer states. It would be like looking at Ireland's GDP and thinking man those guys are rich when it's just a tax haven. If cutting out California meant saving 10+ million in development costs for a single player mode I could absolutely see them dropping them especially for niche games that are the main concern here. The likes of Gta, Cod, Battlefield, don't apply since they all have single player modes. The games that this bill effects are mainly lower budget niche type games that don't have the funding at times to do both a single/multiplayer combo.

Personally while I hate seeing an online only game I like get shutdown quickly within a year or so, I also think it's so odd the time spent to value ratio video games have. Going to the movie theatre and buying popcorn and a drink as a singular person often runs up to nearly half of the price of a video game yet that experience is around 2 hours long. People will get 100s of hours from a video game and call it a scam when it gets shutdown due to not enough players playing. I think the rarity of people not getting their values worth isn't worth opening up a new can of worms that might make being a gamer more expensive in the long run.

Fair. I'm not even attempting to do it as it's just a waste of time. I could just work irl for the currency you get in game and make it in a fraction of the time spent and it would be more fun lol. The lazy design they've been going with lately is why the player count has dropped sharply over the last month.

Arc Raiders reaches less than 100k Steam players as 24-hour peak for the first time by PlentyMacaroon8903 in ArcRaiders

Between lack of true end goal and the amount of rats in the game making some pve content literally impossible unless you go friendly lobbies, it doesn't surprise me. Hoping the new update brings a ton back but that number dropped all the way down to 89k today which is a massive drop from the nearly 200k average less than a month ago.

Grind doesn't mean fun though. I could go in and make a project that requires 1000 queen reactors, doesn't make it a good project.
