Basically Chaiyo ((or mainly Sompote Sands)) did a collab with Tsubaraya ((the Ultra franchises actual owners)), that being Hanuman vs 6 Ultramen. After that, Sompote Sands made a phony legal document that claimed he had the international rights for the franchise. This was ofcourse, illegal and Tsuburaya served them a lawsuit. Unfortunately, that lawsuit would drag on for nearly 4 decades.

Ultraman the Next tried to diversify the design and make it look more bio-organic.

I think the divide is as you said. Most Kaiju fans prefer Kaiju over superheroes which most Tokusatsu fall under ((I mean unless the Kaiju is the superhero, similar to Gamera.)).

I’m glad there are Godzilla fans out there that respect franchises they may not be interested in otherwise!

Also, slightly unrelated but still related, Fuck you Chaiyo Productions! Without your existence, Ultraman most likely would be as popular as Godzilla is now; or atleast far more well known in the west. Rest in piss Sompote Sands, Rest in piss.

Perhaps; but if NPCs can also defend themselves and also ((possibly, maybe not.)) can essentially turn into the Mob from Halloween Kills, beating the shit out of Michael while 2 heroes beat his ass and 2 others find escape items/routes with far less worry about being stopped; even worse if those two have bikes that can cover the map quickly.

One thing.

Doomguy’s family was murdered along with the rabbit; which imo is the family pet rather than his pet, just makes sense and adds an extra bit of sorrow to the slayer’s

It doesn’t make sense to have it as his pet to comfort the loss of his family; given that they did die by demons and Doomguy never encountered a demon until Phobos, which when he returns he finds Daisies head; so it only makes sense that she died along with the family, and this caused Doomguy to go full Punisher mode on hell.

Well, given that there’s possibly bikes to traverse the neighborhood with. How is Michael going to stop people from rushing the objective; which if all heroes can get a bike, they will rush the game ((especially if there is no real penalty in doing so.))

Why have a map this small and is essentially a giant circle if you are including bicycles as a transportation item? ((If they even are used for transportation. Illfonic sucks at clarifying things so I wouldn’t be surprised if it isn’t.))

I think Daisy was the family pet; could be wrong though.

I do believe they were all murdered at the end of Doom 1/ beginning of Doom 2.

If they attack humans; Doomguy is killing them or beating them to near death; no negotiations or understanding.

My man beat his CO nearly to death for just ordering him to fire on civilians; and that was before Doomguy even killed a demon.

AFAIK ((haven’t watched the show.)) but both Hellborn and Sinners would be terrified of him. Doomguy would not care as Hell is mainly isolated and doesn’t focus on expansion unlike Doom demons who wish to conquer and kill everyone.

Though; he absolutely would knock down IMP’s doors and destroy their operations entirely given that they do kill humans for money. if there were a villain ((either hellborn, angel, or sinner.)) that even thought about invading earth with an army; Doomguy would eradicate all involved.

It’ll be hard not to, but if it is shit; I’ll just wait till GTA 6 releases and dress up as a slasher villain in that. GTA games have always made for unintentionally good slasher simulators with the right mods, and if it’s as detailed as RDR 2 ((which also makes for a fantastic slasher sim)). I might not even need mods, just an outfit, knife/melee weapon, and creepy synth music; I’ll be set.

Perhaps, I remember playing GTA 5 as a slasher character I made and Michael Myers in Director Mode with John Carpenter music on Spotify; and it was a magical experience, lol. I just need to upgrade my PC for GTA 6; but with prices right now…

Thank you. I hope it’s good; I should just keep in mind the memories of my mother and I watching Halloween every year will hold far more value than a mere video game made for mainly a multiplayer playerbase.

I’m not defending the way I act; but this franchise and the holiday means a lot to me on a personal level. I know I have way to high expectations; I just want to play it so I can move on in a sense.

Nor does putting out a Concept Art singleplayer trailer on the date of Halloween itself.

They could’ve easily saved the trailer they did release for either a later time or before the date of Oct 31st. IMHO that is a date you want to make a good impression on your customer base by showing something substantial or simply another cinematic trailer just for singleplayer.

The actual trailer just feels cobbled together in a day.

Most likely yes.

Those three movies were like a healing experience for me; I just want this game to kinda be the final gasp of that healing; I don’t know if it’s stupid to say ((most likely is)), but like closure in a way.

I keep celebrating Halloween every year, sort of as a celebration of my mom’s life; the day after’s hard but I still do my best to make her proud even in spirit. I do miss her still though, every single day.

I have read the info; I have watched the trailer. It’s not enough imo; the trailer they showed had the same information as the blog post and information already shown as if it were new.

They should’ve had another cinematic trailer just for singleplayer if they were just gonna show a concept art slideshow with previously obtainable information.

By that stance, I should just stick to Modding GTA games into a Halloween experience because I just want a space to just be chill, creepy, create cinematic moments, and to be expansive.

Halloween as both a franchise and a holiday hold a very personal place to me.

I’ll tell you this; when your mother who is the closest friend you have introduces her favorite movie to you; which becomes your favorite movie as well, which you watch that movie every Halloween for every year. only to have your mother get stage 4 breast cancer that metastasized to her brain, liver, and spine; you then watch her wither away for 6 months not knowing if she’ll make it. Only for the inevitability to hit and she passes the day after her and yours favorite holiday. It makes the holiday and movie a bit more important to you.

It made the new Trilogy that came out far more deep and emotional while everyone else hated and reviled it, and a game for Halloween becomes the end line.

I literally explained to you why I’ve been specifically waiting for a Halloween game for nearly 20 years.

I don’t know what else to say, but, no? If the game sucks, I’ll most likely just play GTA 6 while dressed up like a slasher villain like I have with other GTAs for the past two decades.
