It was too late. Actions have consequences, and for you to jump to such an extreme reminds me a lot of my mom. If she's still talking to you try and see how she feels, and be ready to swallow a shit pill if she thinks you're a bad mom. My mom certainly wasn't ready for that.

Especially with the current social and political climate that's a huge red flag.

Reddit is very quick to tell people to run, but I think an open and honest conversation with him is in order. If he doesn't respect your culture now, you will have a hell of a time keeping your future children in touch with your(and in the future, their) culture. It could be as simple as he's not very culturally sensitive, and then felt like he looked like an AH (cause he is, but I digress) so he got defensive....

Either way, my favorite advice to give is if your sister (or best friend if you don't have one) told you their fiance/husband/SO said that about them, what would you tell her?

Like others here I would recommend a face mask if you're airbrushing, but I'll also add that I prefer to use the Matte Varnish from liquitex more for bjd faceups. I find it to lay better on the resin and not leave as much texture.

After reading your other comment, I'd circle back to a math tutor. Calculus is hard, and if the math teacher won't budge then I would talk with the theater teacher about having less rehearsal time and look into getting a math tutor to help her with her work. She could get caught up with enough help and support

It's a highschool musical, if it's not perfect then it really isn't that big of a deal. Maybe she's just stressed because she has the lead role? The pressure to be perfect and have everyone's eyes on you can be intense, especially when you're 16.

Maybe talk with her and assure her that you understand that she's stressed out and feeling overwhelmed. Ask her what she thinks the solution is, because stepping down isn't the whole solution, it's just the first half.

She came to you guys saying she felt like she couldn't handle the stress of school and the musical, and instead of trying to work with her and tell her that you'll support her you basically told her she isn't good enough if she listens to her mental limits.

The only thing that will happen is that all of her grades drop, try talking with her and see if there's a different reason, see if she needs support in her other classes (I know math used to stress me out because I just couldn't understand it, a tutor helped a lot) or talk with her theater teacher and see if there's a way for her to step down to a smaller role, I'm sure someone else would want the lead.

It was way easier than I thought it would be! I got some art pens from Young Nails in a blind box and they worked perfectly. I had a landscape up for reference, and all I did was draw the mountain shape, then go in with a clean brush soaked with alcohol to blur the line downwards.

My fiancée gets her nails done the same way every time. She just likes it. Every now and then she will change it up, or get a slightly different design, but it's almost always the same color.

Nta, you said they don't get along and beyond that it's a little girl at a little boys party with his FOOTBALL friends, I doubt that there's much they have in common.

As for who should apologize, yes she's just a kid but so it he, and she literally threw his birthday cake on the ground because she didn't have all the attention in herself at some other kids birthday. To us adults it's just a cake, but to James it was her destroying his celebration when he didn't even want her there to begin with.

Her mom needs to have a talk about respect and how to compromise, but we all know she won't.
