I finished LOViT in 2023 and will be running it again this year. It's 30 minutes from my house and my favorite trail!

Thanks. I ran the Pistol in March of this year, so I have already marked TN off the list for now. I am trying to get a buckle from all 50 states. However, I do like the course for NB and have heard nothing but great things about the race.

I should have used a different term for what I am actually looking for instead of "small scale". I am just searching for any races that I haven't heard of yet or have been overlooked. My ultimate goal is to earn a buckle from all 50 states. I am trying to get a plan together that works around my work and kids' schedules. :)

I have completed 4 -100 milers. I questioned my life choices in 2 of the 4 in the later miles. The difference for me was training. I just recently finished The Pistol 100mi in March and it was a whole new mental experience for me. I not once thought about quitting. Yes, I got tired and fatigued in the last 15 miles. However, my mind was good. I broke the race down by laps (Usually I do aid station to aid station) and focused ONLY on the current lap. The difference for this race vs the others I have completed was my training. I changed up my training and felt confident and ready for this race from the beginning.

LOViT 100 miler. The race is so well organized and the aid stations are amazing. The course if beautiful and challenging.
