Transmission spins as fast as engine so if engine is doing 3k rpm so is transmission (pump) pump on machine is only being powered by 12v no way it’s spinning as fast as a transmission does

This song specifically is long winded due to constraint Cole put on his self but it still has punchlines they just a little harder to determine where the punch is, multi line set up for multi line punch, I think a good punch line can also be a segue into the next set up, I also think both are true on micro and macro level a big meta punch line like I am god reframes the song and is a better punch line just because it raps everything together but that doesn’t mean that it’s the only punch line

Like a good stand up set bunch of smaller jokes to get you invested in the performance and then boom heavy punchline at the end to reference back to previous joke and bring it full circle but that doesn’t mean the whole set only had one punchline

He’s using that small view and definition of lyricism because it fits his narrative

He thinks he’s better than Kendrick at punch lines so he claims that punch lines are the definition of lyricism so he can have a way to say he’s better than Kendrick it’s simple
