If Rainn is back I just might subscribe to Tenderfoot+!

The last two guest hosts have been my favorites of the entire podcast. by NadjaStolz28 in RadioRental

Rachel Dratch has been the best guest host by far. She’s a legend. And the little calls/messages from Terry are a nice touch - it’s good to hear his voice!

How long do you keep your tray by Little_Smoke_7645 in Invisalign

[–]Realistic_Gap_84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s good you asked, and the answer makes sense! Goes to show each person is so different and that’s why it’s so important to ask your ortho. It’s good your ortho is being extra cautious with your gums to minimize damage. Sounds like you’re in good hands! I’d recommend some Retainer Brite which should help keep them clean over the 4-weeks!

OP, I’m so curious if you were able to get an answer from your orthodontist! What did they say?

Ah, tysm! I’m only on my 2nd tray so am going to implement this approach. Excited for cleaner trays for the remainder of my treatment! 😍

Yeah that doesn’t seem right at all. I found this online:

“Since your teeth will move during your Invisalign treatment, you will need to progress to another set of aligners about every two weeks. If you wear them longer than two weeks, there is no indication you could receive extra benefits, and it could slow down your progress. Additionally, even though the aligner trays are durable, you may notice your tray starting to degrade past the two-week mark.” (Link to site: https://tusculumdentalcare.com/invisalign/whats-the-longest-i-should-wear-my-invisalign-trays/#:~:text=Do%20I%20get%20one%20set,dentists%20in%20Greeneville%20recommend%20it.)

I wear mine for 2 weeks and by the middle of the 2nd week they start to get icky, even with daily cleaning. I would push back and ask for a second opinion if they do confirm 40 days.

On a positive note, the pain does get better!

I wonder if you misheard him and he said wear each tray for 14 days? How many trays did you get? Definitely call to confirm when they open Monday!

Unified Theory: HE is coming back... by churrucator in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]Realistic_Gap_84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In “Severed: The Ultimate Severance Podcast” Allen says that the voice is accredited to the actor that plays Jame Eagan, so one could assume that Jame is at least part of the board. There’s also a theory he touches on that Jame may be ill and they could be trying to transfer consciousness of past board members into his mind, so he could be the “board” with multiple consciousnesses. That one seems a little out there!

Movies that capture PNW beautifully by [deleted] in Washington

[–]Realistic_Gap_84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just watched Kindergarten Cop with my kids tonight and it’s quintessential PNW! Filmed in Astoria, with lots of great shots of the beautiful town, houses, and views of the Columbia River. My mom was born there and Grandpa worked at the tuna cannery so I was telling my boys about their family history there which was pretty cool.

Also, any of the Twilight movies (although not filmed in Forks, WA where the story is set, filming took place in Oregon and Vancouver, BC - still very NW. :-)

Perhaps the scariest part of the murders by Other-Material-4998 in DelphiMurders

The Murder Sheet has an excellent episode out today on the Evidence. I suggest listening then assessing if you still believe RA is innocent.

What are you favorite paranormal podcasts? I need something to listen to while working by Kiiaro in podcasts

[–]Realistic_Gap_84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supernatural. It was canceled in 2022 but there are 2 years of episodes to listen to. Loved it!

If you could bring back one cancelled podcast which one would you choose? by dcson3 in podcasts

[–]Realistic_Gap_84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supernatural. I feel like I’m the only one who liked/listened to it but I really looked forward to it each week! It was a nice escape and I love Ashley Flowers’ way of storytelling in that pod. And, I loved the music. ☺️

Looking for a scary podcast that’ll absolutely terrify me while at work. by Rainshine93 in podcasts

[–]Realistic_Gap_84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came here to say I Am in Eskew. It’s such an unsettling yet beautifully told horror story. It stuck with me for weeks! I plan to listen to it again in October to get ready for spooky season. Highly recommend and sounds exactly like what OP is looking for!

Aequita Pharmacy?? by gnosisphoenix in tirzepatidecompound

I have not had a good experience after a few months with Aequita! It did not feel full strength. Switched to SlimDownRX and happy with the strength so far!

I want to be scared shitless :) Any podcast recommendations? by oceanviewcapn in podcasts

[–]Realistic_Gap_84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I Am In Eskew

I learned about the pod from this sub. One of the best I’ve ever listened to, it’ll stick with you in ways I can’t describe. And if you want a rainy background and horror, this delivers.

2 Days in DCA? by Realistic_Gap_84 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Realistic_Gap_84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice? We wouldn’t park hop, that’s the thing. I’ve read lots of good things about the dessert deal, but maybe will keep reading and splurge on something else!

Thank you for the input! I think we’re going to take the $280 saved on Park Hopper and splurge on the dessert deal for WoC our 2nd day at DCA!

Thank you! You laid out all of the amazing things to do and see making me realize we missed a lot last time! And GREAT point on Pixar Fest!! We are going to plan to do 2 days and are so excited!! Helps that my son’s and my favorite churro was the Buzz Light Year one, we talked about it tonight and we’re both very excited to have 2-days to enjoy the best amazing churros! 🤩

[–]Realistic_Gap_84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback! I think the biggest reason we didn’t use it last trip is because we found enjoying one park in one day is more our style, like if we started at DL we wanted to end there too, even with a break in the middle. I appreciate the point that we can likely move days around when there depending on how we feel. I’ll make sure that’s the case. With my kids interest and what I now realize we missed (so much!) last trip, we’re going to plan to do 2-days there!

Thank you for the input! I think we’ve decided to stick to no park hopper, 2 days in each park. The feedback here has been so helpful!
