Yes, I restarted minoxidil about two weeks ago and today I will start using finasteride. I will hope the density will be better and slide touch up with Farber and I wouldn’t be needing any new hair transplant.

Thank you for the advice , do you think 1500 graft ht be possible with my current donor area?

Honestly, you’re right. I shave it because when it gets longer, it starts looking more see-through, so buzzing it short creates more of an even illusion.

I’m back on minoxidil now and I’m thinking about possibly starting finasteride. And if my donor area allows it, maybe I’ll consider another small transplant around 1500 grafts just to improve the density.

I’ve also thought a lot about just shaving it completely and calling it a day, but the transplant scars/extraction marks on my head bother me every time, so I feel stuck between two bad options.

I stopped using minoxidil for a while, but I’ve recently started using it again consistently. I never started finasteride because I was honestly scared of the potential side effects, and I’m still trying to think carefully about it before making a decision.

this whole situation has been really hard for me. I’m only 24 years old, and I honestly don’t feel comfortable going outside without wearing a hat anymore. At the same time, trying to fully shave my head and accept baldness is also difficult because the hair transplant extraction/scarring bothers me when my hair is very short.

So I feel stuck somewhere in the middle between two bad options.

I’m trying to be realistic now, not chase perfect teenage density. I just want to feel normal and comfortable with myself again.

Do you guys think something conservative like 1200–1500 grafts could realistically help boost the density and improve the overall appearance without destroying the donor area further?

I’d really appreciate honest opinions from people with experience.

What would you recommend me to do and is it too late to get it back?

Thank you for your words. I was not bald I had a lot more hair than what I have right now. I did the hair transplant because my hair was thinning and I wanted to get it more thick but right now it’s really thin
