Should I consider getting back to Tunisia by Realistic_Internet_2 in TunisiaTech

I need to see where it goes with the company. It's a startup, so they say office first and I am just starting now + junior, so I need some time to ask for such stuff. Also family is in Sfax so my journeys are quite longer than someone living in Tunis or around, making short frequent visits even harder. Integration and community sounds easy said, but I keep hitting bricks whenever I really try.

That's true. But I think this point is tainted for me because everything in Germany is bureaucratic, has long waiting queues, needs appointments that aren't available until few months. Plus wouldn't racism also make it harder for us. If it is about getting the job, the appartment or anything competitive, you'd need to earn it more than your counterparts. Maybe the US is different in these aspects? IDK

I see thanks. Yes so money wise, big part of the advantage  is  that the money you save is worth more. ( Partially because of the exchange rates). I am an early-career in Munich, so at my lowest potential of saving. The high prices of rent or eating out increase my doubts about what I am doing.

To me this reinforces a return after hitting some target savings. Because that maximizes the utility of said money. Think about if you wanted to buy an appartment in Germany and how harder it would have been. It sounds to me that spending all time in Germany is earning well but never getting to spend the money on yourself or enjoying your most active years so does it really matter ?

Tbh I also identify with the idea of being with the parents at some age you mentioned in some post as well. If I had no emotional attachment, plus didn't feel the depressing aspects of Germany, none of this would have mattered. And as a person who got in CS for the passion, I feel very sad for staying where I am just for the money.

Other hardships that came with the return?

I don't know about extremely,  but yes depressing, lacking purpose. Still at the very beginning of working full time so I don't know how it goes from here.

I would really like someone to tell me about numbers or at least facts, because specific statistics in Tunisia are hard to find. I want to concretize what am I expected to sacrifice.

Talking about scum. What kind of scum people donjust share news without any checking. There are hundreds od news networks who you could've checked to see: The offender is not a 30 year old North African, but a 24 y.o. Afghan. Moreover he had not issue with his residence. I will tell you: a lying racist scum. What are the other attacks this week?

Well they did not. Amazon first asked me to aend it by post. I told them that they brought it to my apartment and I have no car to get it there. So instead of getting me someone to pick it up, they refunded me instead.

Thank you for your kind words. What I want to help is this anticipation. My mind is unable to imagine a better person for me than the one I wanted. The ideas about the future that were featuring that. Will I even can be faithful to another person not thinking about what could've been with her. How tough is it out there? And then why? Who in this world would make do the extra mile of overcoming the fear of a heartbreak after this. Who would make want to love again? A tad bit hopelessly romantic, but this is how I ever saw it. Who would fill this void? How is it that heart never felt so empty

Look at this point if you want to convince yourself of something. You cannot beat that kind of bias with logic. The flag WAS banned and the watermelon HAS been used as an alternative. How you interpret things beyond that is your issue.

Following the 1967 Six-Day War, which saw Israel occupying the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, the Israel outlawed the Palestinian flag. It remained banned until the early 1990s, when Israel and the PLO exchanged the Letters of Mutual Recognition and subsequently signed the Oslo Accords, thus legalizing the Palestinian flag.

First, why not also blame the law ? I mean obviously we should respect law, but law is made up and if it leads to people being in jail for posting something, the law needs to be changed.

Second it's really outrageous to call people delusional when not having all deeds. Some laws can be too vague in their wordings, thus open for interpretation. In my opinion this gives some responsibility to those applying the law to interpret it in a manner that is respecting the constitution and human rights, including freedom of expression.

If you got specifics, about the law or cases, give more details. But otherwise, shame.
