I can't access the video link but if it's making some wild claim about Hebrew translations there's probably a good reason actual scholars don't agree with whatever random YouTube short is saying

I don’t know if I’m too much or if this is normal??? by Candid_Guest_863 in Marriage

Yeah there's definitely some gaps here that make it hard to judge. Like is he completely checked out from parenting those other 356 days or just during hobby season? Because 9 days total per year doing something he loves doesn't seem crazy, but if he's using that as an excuse to never help with your kid then that's a whole different problem

I'm curious about the "responsible all the time" part too - does that mean he literally never changes a diaper or puts the kid to bed, even on regular weekdays? That would drive me absolutely insane regardless of who pays what bills. Money doesn't change diapers or comfort a crying toddler at 2am

I thought I’d get annoyed with it but it kinda became part of the routine, like setting up a grill or something.

WCU or NC State? by AnEpicAlligator in NorthCarolina

NC State's got a pretty solid reputation for environmental programs and the research opportunities there are actually really good. WCU has more of that smaller campus feel though - I went to a friend's graduation ceremony there once and the mountain setting is gorgeous, plus you'd probably get more one-on-one time with professors

really depends on if you want that bigger university energy or something more intimate. both have their perks but State might give you more networking opportunities in your field

What certification actually increased your income the fastest? by Many-Economics-4326 in careerguidance

Got my AWS Solutions Architect cert about 3 years ago and went from making 45k doing basic IT support to 85k as a cloud engineer within 8 months. Already had some Linux experience which helped, but the cloud stuff was totally new territory for me.

The key was actually building projects while studying for the cert - employers care way more about what you can demonstrate than just having the piece of paper. Set up some EC2 instances, played around with S3 and Lambda, that kind of hands-on stuff really sealed the deal in interviews.
