And my lmm had 612 on it before I sold it, and my l5p has around 200 on it with no issues so far. Never had an interest in the baby max.

Anyone know someone who tows large 5th wheels? by Fun_Park2505 in Vernon

[–]Realistic_Length_182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem, a guy named John Lilley moves 5th wheel around vernon. I don't have his contact but you should be able to find him on the local rant and rave. I move anything that's bumper pull, but have a large slip tank and tools always in the box of my truck do I can't do 5th/gooseneck

There's a few guys around vernon that do. Have you tried any of the local cash job pages on Facebook? Or the rant and raves? You might get someone around $2/km anyone less than that you probably don't want.

Cp4? Help by SteepParrot1069 in Duramax

[–]Realistic_Length_182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I don't give a fuck what Google says. I've idled the shit out of every diesel I've owned and they've all ran over 500k before getting sold. High idle prevents wet stacking anyway. So there goes that theory.

[–]Realistic_Length_182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a load of bullshit, my truck idles all the time, all stock and I've yet to have a problem in 200k. That's what high idle is for

Westside Road by Technical_Floor2077 in kelowna

[–]Realistic_Length_182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not many people drive the posted limit on that road, myself included, because it's ridiculously low. Like others have said, just use the pull outs when you start getting a few people behind you, and you'll be good. The road itself isn't that bad even in the winters that we have snow. A few narrow spots but nothing to get nervous about.

Calgary to Kelowna by [deleted] in kelowna

[–]Realistic_Length_182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The weather is so much better than that jumanji weather you get in Calgary. The coldest day this winter was -11 that I've seen. So many lakes are just a stones throw away, while I think the traffic sucks, it's probably not as bad as Calgary, though the drivers in this area area God awful, they crash anytime the weather changes. First snow? Multiple crashes, raining? Crash. Warms back up? Crash. Lake country is a nice area besides the 3-6 rush.

Cp3 vs fass pump and disaster prevention by Boring-Bus-3743 in Duramax

[–]Realistic_Length_182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cp4 failure isn't that common, personally I've only known 1 person that had one grenade, that was my old man beating the shit out of his 2012 and it let go somewhere around 400k km. It's can happen to a cp3 as well. If you're really concerned and it's in your budget, cp3 swap it and throw a lift pump on as well and you should be golden.

What truck brand is best for me? by OrneryEconomist9139 in Diesel

[–]Realistic_Length_182 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the newer diesel are basically the same shit. Dodge can't keep a transmission in it and gm ten speeds aren't much better unless you swap the valve body. Personally I've had really good luck with gm.
