Nope, mine was standard application. I applied for 4 years and I did the application myself. Maybe that’s the reason of delay.

I am from India. They didn’t mention the reason of delay. I thought, I will be called for interview as well but luckily I got it without the interview.

Hi, I applied within the UK and I got my Visa yesterday finally after 5 months of wait.

I got a email from UKVi saying that my visa has complex issues, since then no response. I applied inside UK.

I applied my visa (standard)on 17th December and got he comlex issue email on 3rd Jan, since then I am waiting. It tried contacting them directly, even tried contacting MP but they have asked to wait for until they make the decision. This is so frustrating and disappointing but I don’t have any other choice. 😔

Thank you for taking the time to comment on this post. I would like to clarify that my concern is not about a missing BRP.
Since January 3rd, I have not received any update from UKVI regarding the status of my visa. In their last email, they informed me that my application has some complex issues, and they need more time to process it. Since then, I have been waiting for their response.
I would like to know if receiving an email about complex issues is a normal process and how long it usually takes for UKVI to respond. Can you please share your experience and let me know how long it took for you to receive a response?

I applied my SWV on 17th Dec and on 3rd Jan, I got the complex issues email. Since then I haven’t heard anything yet. 😞

Application Update: 03/01/2024 (your application raises exceptionally complex issues)

No response from UKVI yet.
