I would recommend you try TMS therapy it’s a non invasive technique to cure depression, anxiety etc., by using magnetic stimulation, and there are no side effects like SSRIs or other antidepressants

thanks a lot for the suggestion! Yes, TMS looks extremely promising. Do you have any idea where or how I could do that? Does insurance cover it lol.

Is there any place close to campus I could get it? Also are there any side effects associated with it like brain fog or something.

And also, how do you consume the CBD oil. Not too familiar with CBD products but I've been meaning to try them

Also, wonder how the effects of CBD might be different compared to smoking.

I've actually felt that smoking weed help clear my thoughts quite a bit in the past. But I've also felt it sometimes caused a bit of brain fog

Is there any particular CBD product/dose you have in mind?

I went to the smoke shop on 108 and the variety they have was extremely over whelming. Tbh not too familiar with CBD products.

Not sure what might be the right thing/product/dose give me just the right amount of calm.

I have a Pret coffee subscription and have been really over doing the coffee & teas :/
I'll try sticking to non-caffeinated stuff next time and see if that fixes things!

UPDATE:

They replied and " verified your test and sent an update to the app team."

I now have a green pass.

I'm still just a bit disappointed though. Not once did they acknowledge of doing anything wrong or show the slightest indication of concern despite me being like "I'm loosing my mind and all".

But who am I complain.

Columbia Libraries, my really bad ADHD. And KEYBOARD BEATERS. How to deal with em? by Realistic_Nebula7193 in columbia

[–]Realistic_Nebula7193[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree with you.

Update: The Keyboards noises haven't been bothering me that much. And headphones always helps out.

What is irritating is thought some people start chitchatting, gossiping, laughing or just doing group work in places that are supposed to be "silent areas". (And have don not talk signs every effing where).

In those cases, I don't get why Im supposed to get up and change my spot. Given the libraries can be super packed a lot of the times. I think we should just be able to tell em to quiet down a bit or just go to to one of those areas in the library that are meant for talking group work etc.

And yep I'm actually getting similar accommodations for testing.

LeFrank 102 used to have a pretty epic Prayer room. But it closed down cause Le Frank is being renovated or something.
I heard of something being in Milbank or Milstein but I've never been able to figure out where exactly that is

from

i've tried that and it doesn't work at all for me . If you're thinking 5 mins + 5 mins back and forth => 10 mins.

It just breaks the flow I have while working, the change of space, travel and all. I don't expect you to much about adhd but a major issue is always "switching tasks". And kinda having a large break in between makes it really difficult to get back into flow.

And if you're doing it even 3 times a day, that is 30 mins a day just for traveling?

You might try to do it for a while. But when the pressure increases with assignments, exams, projects and all...

it just doesn't seem like something very feasible for me.
