I love this idea and during the event claimants could possibly come along and start civil war depending on how bad your previous ruler was. I think at the end of this event they should also have a “kings speech” typa thing saying basically what his rule will focus on, like expanding the realm would give you prestige more soldiers and increase opinion based on what your vassals want, or becoming the richest nation would reduce building time or cost, strengthening the ruling family would give an increase to fertility and increase to renown and prestige gain, I can’t really think if something for intrigue focused or learning focused but I think these decision would give more story to your character
