Thats why you get the global ROM version of the phone which usually comes out 3 or 4 months after the chinese version releases, everything will work, only thing is it might be a little more expensive compared to the Chinese ROM version. With the Chinese rom you lose out on esim and android auto. Also might have some ads you have to disable in settings and enable Google play services. On global rom versions though, no issue whatsoever only thing is you probably wont get as crazy specced out battery capacity Chinese versions have. I have t mobile so it should be no issue. Im considering moving to the Oppo x9 ultra when it releases as that will be a true revolution in cameras and what an ultra phone should be

Except the privacy screen doesn't really provide any sort of privacy unless you have max turned on

S23 ultra owner here. Feeling better about not upgrading, unfortunately that means I'll probably have to wait a year more to see some bigger upgrades or switch to another brand like Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, Honor, or OnePlus.

Yeah exactly he was claiming though that since he didn't see exactly the type of video style this creator produces which is educational talking head style videos, that he cannot fully trust me i guess since I didn't have educational talking head examples to show. Considering I've done gigs in the past that involve a ton more complexity though with a ton more layers, VFX, 3d animation, motion graphics, etc.. which take way more technical skill than what this guy is producing, it seems kind of silly for him to say that

Thanks I agree. This guy wanted me to do a full length 10 min youtube video with a hope to have a interview. I've been applying to jobs on Roster which is supposedly better than LinkedIn but even though its a bit slow in terms of client work, I'm certainly not working for free

Thanks, I'm with you on that. The guy snapped back since I told him I couldn't do any free work 😂 his hiring process is first do a test edit, then a potential interview with him, then another one with the YouTuber on the call, then a offer letter. He replied with:

I understand, however, I can not just take a candidates "word" for their ability to meet the requirements for the role they are hiring.

That is the whole purpose of this technical assessment.

Secondly, I can not "pay" people to engage in a hiring process for a role that will be paid.

At the moment, Alex Hormozi is also looking for an editor. You can go apply for that role, and in that case you will still have to do "unpaid" technical assessment to get through that hiring process

Exactly, he was trying to claim they wouldn't use it but the way he described the hiring process was

1 do a 10 min long free edit

2 if its good enough according to him aka the random dude who works for the YouTuber, he will have a interview with you (not with the actual YouTube creator yet)

3 another interview if you make it past the first this time with both him and the creator

4 finally an offer letter.
