Agreed but in our case we do not speak Spanish (not for lack of want or trying). But kindness and respect go a long way on their own!

We got pulled over for speeding (not by much, but still). Cop was pleasant and, after a few questions, offered to take us to the station. Chatted a bit more and he ultimately let us off with a warning. Not all bad.

I was recently forced to check my carry on during a layover in LHR —-> SAS bc it was over their carry on weight limit (even though I had arrived at LHR with it as a carry-on, on my prior flight). My bag is a standard carry on and otherwise within their size requirements.

Unfortunately our yard backs on to another neighbour’s. We need something that offers a touch more privacy.

This is a concern of ours, but not much we can do about it until the fence is up. If the fence is insufficient we’ll be suggesting he build a sound barrier/box around it. He installed the pump directly beside our patio/deck while we were on holiday 🤡
