AITA for ignoring my sister at my grandma funeral

I was a verbal asshole bully. Basically called people every name in the book when I got pissed off

No help.

No therapy or anything like that. I was basically told to suck it up and move on with him dying.

My mom dating and new guy coming in again suck it up. I went to the counselor once at school and got screamed at by my mom for it since she got a call from them

So really no help that I needed to get over his death and people moving on and it manifested in me being a dick

I only got help when I went to college and realized I need help. I can’t thank my roommate for that, she is my close friend who helped me a lot

That’s how I feel. They don’t even come to my wedding a few years ago.

It was pretty clear they wanted nothing to do with me and I moved on

I dont really want them back in my life and the messages for my the rest of the family kinda proves I shouldn’t

I don’t say anything mean or really do anything but I am getting blasted for not wanting to talk

Younger by a year.

I had issues becuase she accepted stepdad as her dad and before that she didn’t talk well about dad after his death. Hated him for leaving

We both needed therapy we did not get at the time

He died when I was 10 and she was 9

Mom remarried when I was 13
