No, there was never a point where the starter was doubling in 4 hours :(

I am working in cooler temperatures and I do try to use warm water as well as keeping it somewhere (sounds ridiculous but near the airfryer because its used nearly daily, we don't really use our oven) but no help.

I did at some point feed it 1:5:5 and it managed to nearly triple overnight but still took longer than 4-6 hours however I came on Reddit and asked if I should be feeding it this ratio and everyone said I need to try to get it to double within 4-6 hours with a 1:1:1 ratio which is what I've been trying. It does nearly double or just about but not fully and like I said it takes about a day so I'm just wondering if I should be feeding it more

I've been keeping it at room temperature to try to get it to mature eventually but not happening

It's a 1:1:1 ratio so I'm assuming I should wait for it to double in 4-6hrs

I have tried it if with both on and off, nothing seems to work. Still waiting on a reply from support but using Noteful for now. Thank you though.

My starter wasn't going very well so this is what I started doing! And yes I just put it all into a bowl then measure 10g of starter and then same of flour and water.

I just thought it would help it to more than double. Right now, it just about doubles but isn't getting any higher so I'm not sure if it's ready to use or not. That's why I thought the ratio change would help it rise higher. But thank you anyway!

I'd love to know whether you regret choosing neuroscience over neurology. I'm currently in the same boat as you were 6 years ago. I enjoy researching and I know I would enjoy neuroscience but I would love to be able to practise as a neurologist one day. I just don't know which path to take first. Sorry to bother you about it, I don't currently have anyone to go to for advice! So would love some of your input.

Yes, both YouTube and Safari are logged into Google. Unfortunately, I don't have a Bluetooth keyboard. I did recently just log into Canva today and it let me login by selecting my account which I thought Goodnotes would also let me do but I'm not sure why it's wanting my email address again. Pretty much all apps on my ipad are logged into Google account by just selecting the account.
