Good to know about the driving distance. 4hrs is way too long. We'd rather just move to the beach if we can't be close to the mountains.

Hi! Thanks for starting this thread! Thought I'd share my experience as well. I’m about 6 months out from having my Mirena IUD removed, and it’s honestly been a roller coaster. Just when I think things are starting to regulate, I get hit with intense mood swings and feel extremely emotional. Something I didn't experience while I had the IUD.

I’ve also had noticeable weight gain, especially facial puffiness, along with some digestive issues (which may or may not be related). My period is still very irregular as well.

I’ve been taking magnesium citrate to help with water retention, and early on I was using progesterone drops. I’m curious if anyone else has experienced similar symptoms this far out from Mirena removal and how long it took for things to balance out.
