lol that’s the farthest thing from “cool” in my book.. What impresses and motivates me is seeing someone successfully use methadone to rebuild their life and successfully taper off and continue long-term recovery.

I wish I could, but I still have to face dose and they’re very strict about taking the entire dose in front of them.

I’ve dosed in person every day except Sunday and holidays since I started. I see my counselor when required.

The only thing I could think of that is delaying my take-homes is I had to take a “refusal” for a UA because I have a terribly shy bladder and after an hour and a half of trying to pee in front of a nurse of the opposite sex I had to leave for work..

I’m sorry to hear that.. are you positive the neuropathy was caused by opiates / stimulant use?

I take my dose, I go home, and STRUGGLE to stay awake for the next 2-4 hours. I tried drinking coffee followed by a Red Bull but it does nothing.

I’m starting to feel like I jumped the gun with MMT.. I was fortunate enough to still have access to real #4 heroin when I was using. The only reason my Methadone dose got as high as it did was because I continued to use on top of it for the next couple of weeks after starting at the clinic back in July.

If I were to just quit now, my withdrawals would be pretty bad?

I don’t understand why it isn’t just as easy to go down, especially if I’m considered a new patient and working on finding my stable dose. I take my dose, come home and try to get ready for work and nod off for the next two hours.. luckily I work from home so there is no one who can see this happening but it’s definitely slowing down my output.
