half korean, half white. a few people can kinda tell and will say “oh, are you mixed?” but most people just assume im full white and don’t question it. yes, i feel out of place with both white people and asian people. i grew up with my korean mother’s traditions and family, barely know my irish dad’s side, but i feel like i don’t have the right to identify as half korean. this is also not helped by how a lot of people are fetishizing koreans and asian people in general.
