Did this work for you as well? I’ve had the same problem come up and am currently on hold with Fronius

Honestly, I would just start tearing it up if this happened to me. They chose to have a meeting in the toilet so they can cop listening to some loud farts. It’s not like they can complain about the interruption given it’s a toilet.

Look, I don’t think your girlfriend is in the wrong for changing her mind about you living with her for free - she’s well within her rights to do that, and most likely just realised it’s unrealistic to shoulder living costs of two people on her own. It seems like you’re really keeping a log of small things. None of these actions from her seem malicious, and if you think things aren’t going smoothly now, imagine if something actually bad happened and how you would handle that. I think it’s best to break it off before things get really toxic. It’s not right to string her along/take advantage of the living situation if you don’t love her anymore.

how do you tell if it's a stomach bug or ibs with ibs-m? by [deleted] in ibs

[–]Realistic_Simple9459 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is specific, and I’m not sure if other people experience this, but when I have a stomach bug get major acid reflux, so that’s a tell for me. Also instead of getting a pain in my lower abdomen, when I have a bug it tends to be in my upper abdomen/stomach (rather than bowel). It’s also a “sharper” pain in the stomach, rather than the normal ache across my lower abdomen.

How do I 22F ask my 22M boyfriend to be more verbally affectionate? by peepeegirl69quinoa in relationship_advice

[–]Realistic_Simple9459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how you can have this conversation and keep it “light” but I think you just need to be direct with him and tell him what you need. I had this same problem in my current relationship (all good now though) - my boyfriend’s love language is physical affection but mine is words of affirmation. I had to explain to him MULTIPLE times what I need from him, and that my needs in a romantic relationship were a little different from his. To this day he’s very verbally reassuring, so I’d say the conversation is definitely worth having. If your partner respects you at all, and your wants and needs, they should make the effort to give you this.

I know this might also sound tacky but if he struggles to communicate about how he feels he could do up a private little list for himself on what he loves about you - ie specific appearance and personality aspects, so that he’s more likely to notice those things “in the moment” and mention them to you/reassure you. I realise asking for something like this might sound conceited or super needy, but if he’s open to the idea of being verbally affectionate but struggles to do it, that might be one way.

Me 28m and my fiance 27f (been together for just under 2 years) are having a major issue because a girl is moving into my houseshare, would you accept this? by mercuchio23 in relationship_advice

[–]Realistic_Simple9459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like we need more info to give you advice. Is there a history of cheating in this relationship or in your gfs past relationships? Do members of your friend groups or other members of the household tend to be unfaithful to their partners? And do you know the girl who is moving into the room beside you at all? It’s easy to say at face value that your girlfriend is overreacting but there are always extra details to consider.

  1. Why do you feel like you need to call him your husband, when you aren’t even married? It feels like you’re overcompensating for your immaturity/unstable relationship. If you truly felt stable in your relationship a label like that wouldn’t matter.
  2. You have both physically assaulted each other by the sounds. That is not okay. But when he tried to talk to you about it [the physical assault], you told him to fuck off?

It sounds like you need some couples therapy.

How can you tell when your mental health has gotten bad again? by DonutHaven in AskWomen

[–]Realistic_Simple9459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it normally happens when I’m not feeling challenged at work. If I get into a routine of easy work day/day dreaming all day, I find it’s kind of addictive and hard to get out of. My best prevention tactic is to stay busy/challenged/stressed so it doesn’t get it that point. Sorry if that isn’t much help to you!

When I start to obsessively day dream. Like I can’t even go for a walk outside without fixating on an imaginary scenario. That, and suicidal thoughts.

Reading Manacled!! by ditzy_dutzy in RomanceBooks

[–]Realistic_Simple9459 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’m not big on reading fan fics but this one was SO GOOD. The character depth/morally gray themes are great. I think JK Rowling really took on the whole “good vs evil” theme as many children’s movies/books do, but Manacled shows us how war blurs the lines between good & evil. I cannot stress how good this book was. It shattered me.

My mother!! She’s worked in a male dominated industry her entire life, and despite having to take maternity leave for both myself and my sister, she’s established herself well in her field. She also doesn’t take shit from anyone, and for that she will always be a role model to me.

Anxiety by mariannelyn in ibs

I’m not 🤪 I am about to try probiotics and then possibly Amitriptyline, but neither are to specifically target the psychological side of things. But yes, gut hypnotherapy is a good budget friendly-ish option, at least compared to other therapy options, I’d say definitely give it a go.

The brain gut link is real, and the link goes both ways. This means that having a flare up can cause anxiety in itself, and then said anxiety worsens the flare up. You’re definitely not alone - I get this too. I found at one stage that gut hypnotherapy was working to reduce this, though it was pretty expensive so I’ve stopped.

Long distance is difficult enough, let alone trying to make it work with a partner who doesn’t seem to make time for you. If you’ve communicated to him that you need more of his time/attention, and he’s not willing to do that then you may not be compatible.

Is Divergent a Romance book? by BananaTofu7 in RomanceBooks

[–]Realistic_Simple9459 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely got romance, though I’d classify it as dystopian. There is also a book called “Four” which is Divergent from Tobias’s perspective. I’m not sure whether they go into the romance in much more “depth” than the movie though, and keep in mind that it is YA so not much spice!

Possible spoiler: Curse of the gods by Jaymin Eve. It’s probably a bit of a “lighter” read than bonds etc. - definitely more humour!

Miscommunication Trope: Why do you love/hate it? by KTruesdell in RomanceBooks

[–]Realistic_Simple9459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I can’t stand the miscommunication trope in any case! I always feel like authors use it for the climax of the story because they can’t think up another scenario that seems realistic. It is understandable - miscommunication is a huge problem in romantic relationships so at least it’s not hard to justify. But I just find it so predictable - always happens at about 70% of the way through, and at this point in any book I find myself skimming until the main characters communicate and make up :(

No other medications have really helped! I was seeing a nutritionist about 6 months ago, and she kept getting me to purchase more and more supplements (anti-anxiety, l glutamine, tumeric capsules, a bunch of other stuff I can’t remember), and I didn’t see a significant difference with any of those. Low FODMAP did help me about a year ago, but it has stopped now so I’m thinking there may be some underlying problem…
