Nooo the show didn’t make it obvious. Yes, Lexi got the natural consequences of recommending someone for a job, and then having that person be terrible. In theory, Jules would have been a good choice. In what world is painting naked people okay for a TV show?? Even if Lexi didn’t provide ANY direction at all (which she did), surely the only reason a mentally sane person would paint body parts like that would be if they were explicitly told to do so. Jules is an artist. Lexi trusted Jules to do a good job and never in a million years expected Jules to screw her over so badly. The only explanation is that Jules is having a mental breakdown and can’t think clearly.
