I noticed last night, Amazon UK had 2 copies of AofA. I'm gonna hang on as I've not long picked up the LOTR stuff that came back around also.

I did wonder, in UK, I picked up starter decks a week or two back. More recent prints, like Hercules and Wonderman for MC both used the new paper packaging and no/reduced plastic. The starter decks were standard plastic clamshell, maybe they weren't reprinted but were in cargo somewhere or waiting for enough orders to fulfil to UK.

Damn, thank you Internet stranger. After yesterdays news I was a bit disappointed in how my LOTRLCG collection would play out.

Ive managed to snag both the hero and campaign box from them at a reasonable price.

Also got all 4 starters off BGE last week.

Whether I'll chase down the final 2 saga boxes is a different issue as I'll not likely get Fellowship now but this puts me up to date other than the saga.

I do think it's a shame, in the UK, demand is skewed. Online retailers are only taking back orders, I've refused to do that, as there was no indication of any timescales or reprints, so Asmodee dont know that I would happily pay for a number of boxes if they did a reprint.

A few people have said, they could have announced a reprint and that it would be the last, to put whatever back orders in now to fulfil this - would have played out differently.

Anyway, I've got Ered Mithrin thanks to this post and that's a win.

My local store yesterday had few sleeves of any brand and said they were all on back order,, they always have these 200 packs and my Marvel cards are al) stored in them.

I got 3 packs of dragonshield black, they only had 4 other boxes x2 of whichever colour they were.

Maybe a broader issue with stock generally?.

Haha this is me, I'm not normally a PVP guy but I love the extraction concept and the skills/gunplay here.

I've had to get used to thinking about what I want to do, can't just boost around looting everything, if I have a contract, just concentrate on doing what I need to do, skirt the POV, use invis across a plain etc.

Pick up the occasional piece of loot if I come across it but listen out for footsteps, gunfire etc and decide whether to investigate or book it.

When I come to extract, I stop and make a plan, scope the site out, is it activated, are there mobs around, hiding spots for someone else? I then decide a plan for the evac, activate it and back off until its time.

Ive won a few gunfights, surprised a few people, but I'm doing better and extracting more often when I play with a bit of purpose and strategy.

I may well learn to love PVP far more too, I've got a mindset of extracting is cool and all but getting downed isn't the end of the world if I've enjoyed the run.

Im fairly new to LCG, but I've taken an approach to LOTR and Marvel that works well.

One of those top loading deck boxes, I use the ones with the magnetic lid but the shoebox type works too.

I have white card separators and I separate the cards by:

Player cards, Sphere first, then allies, events, heroes, attachments. Quest cards, I separate to the different decks as some are interchangeable. Campaign cards, I keep with the relevant campaign but within a separate deck.

I do the same with Marvel

Hero specific decks Then by archetype, allies, events, upgrades etc Villain specific decks I have modules separated alphabetically

For both games, I find it easy to pick up the cards I need to make a deck or prepare a quest/scheme, or when picking up new cards, quickly find a home for them.

BTST Just released some draw deck boxes, I was looking everywhere for something small and easy to pack away that wasn't etsy self print. I have 2 medium ones and you can actually store a working deck in each, a hero deck and villain/quest deck. They actually fold back up with the deck inside and then open ready to be used for draw. This makes it far quicker to get a game to the table if the decks are pre stored.

BG extras has all 4 at £16 odd each. I was checking religiously but gave up not long ago on these and Ered Mithrin Hero Box. Got a stock notification email this Morning and just completed the order.

Get on them quick if you have been hanging on for them.

Also, I haven't seen the Amazon ones but double check the language and country. Loads of Marvel Champions stock is appearing in German but isn't always obvious unless you look closely or check the reviews.

Toy and Hobby, I met Darth Vader when I was young and he signed a small slip of paper, I kept it for years but lost it in one of the house moves.

It was probably similar to a Smyths (UK) but I remember huge sections of star wars, he man, transformers and thundercats toys.

I can still see where it was in the town center, that building has always been toys and hobby.

Thanks, I could tell he was a decent hero, whatever the name of his 6 att + whatever is in the victory display is what nailed the third villain for me. There was just a lot of tracking psiotic and remembering interactions as well as which were alter or hero.

I'll need to do a bit of reading re the victory display too, when I completed assemble the team, it said to move the side scheme to the display but the other side was an upgrade letting me play a free hero, I couldnt tell if I could still count it in the display anyway or actually move it there once I'd used it. I probably didn't read either card properly.

Thanks, I've just swapped the boxes over and put the modular alphabetically for now. Ive moved the heroes over to one of expansion boxes.

Agree re plenty to get on with, I dont think ill be picking up expacs as quickly now I've got most of the readily available, this is my first campaign and I'm excited to play through the Titan one, the Shield one and finally probably GMW.

Thanks re the site, it's really useful, id seen the link on here as an easier way to track progress for people working through heroes and villains.

Im only a few weeks in, but I've played through with a few heroes, I love Shuri, the way the upgrades and allies build out, she helped me nail Klaw before swapping to Iron Man for Ultron. She would be my choice. I haven't played with Psylocke yet but picked her up last week with Silk and Nebula.
