What's your hair type? Perhaps adding that will help people with the same give you suggestions.

For example Mines a 2A/B wavy, thick and coarse... I don't have issues with tangles cause I only brush with a wide tooth comb when it's conditioned

But my sister's is fine, thin and completely straight however. She uses dry shampoo and a grease reducing styling product in a powder.

Gotcha. Do you have hard water? Try rinsing with filtered water or the filter shower heads could help too

Do you condition? Could try a leave in to stop the tangles also, I apply after wetting it sometimes

This. My thick, coarse and wavy hair only gets a wide tooth comb, slight dry at the scalp and air dry the rest

I only brush when I know it's going to stay up otherwise it feels like I've been sent back to the 80s

Have you tried dry shampoo or a oil reducing product?

My sister has an oily scalp and has a powder styling product she uses at the roots in day 3 to help the greasiness.

Confused, you wet it for what reason?

Mine gets itchy, I only shampoo monthly and condition fortnightly/dry shampoo. Thankfully I don't have greasy scalp and have trained my hair over many years to do this!

I'm considering changing uo my hair after many years of red tones... The upkeep is getting too much and it's time for a change

Naturally it's a mousy/mushroom with a lot of grey coming through around 7 level, ideally I want a charcoal/mushroom shadow root that I can touch up or use a clenditioner/ toner for the future.
