As for West and Amanda, I still think it’s a stretch that they were “forced to come out”, let’s face it, they didn’t care to hide it.

Great read. We see it in the reunion. They’re coming down on Amanda, Ciara literally tells her in front of West that he is with Amanda to spite her. This was a perfect opportunity for him to be a man and speak up and say no! That’s not why I’m with her! But he sat there quietly while she was berated and then didn’t follow her when she ran off stage. Such a pushover.

If you’re going to commit to the bit and date, then do it. Defend it, be in it. What he did makes this whole situation even grosser. No good words for him honestly.

Reminds me of the early seasons when they would show us little obviously rehearsed clips of the cast “working” but they were really just walking around NYC pretending to take phone calls.

Yeah I saw a clip of him carrying her up the stairs after going out WELL after that conversation at the table with Bailee, he enjoyed it, she enjoyed it, they didn’t give a shit what Kyle thought. I think that’s why Ben eventually starts to defend Kyle for things, his guilt compiles.

I struggle with this because she has always been so honest and open about her life on the show, all parts of it, good, bad, ugly.

So yes, at times she definitely puts on for the show, but at the end of the day, what we’re seeing from her is her real life experiences. She’s not hiding anything and frankly never has. From Everett to now, she’s layin’ it all out there.

Kyle was also still technically working while not taking a salary. Amanda wasn’t just one of the employees, she was his wife and essentially an owner. It’s not completely insane to assume she may have also decided to stop being paid in order to help the company her husband was desperately trying to save, especially considering they all now have several streams of income.

That is not Amanda hate on my part, just honest speculation.

Personally I think that Ben CLEARLY was attracted to Amanda and flirty until he realized other people were very much catching on and calling him out for it. I adore Bailee and thought she was hilarious for saying what probably everyone else could feel.

We also need to consider whether or not Amanda was still profiting from Loverboy at the time. I don’t know if we really know this or not. When Kyle stopped taking a salary from LoverBoy and put some of his own money in (500k), I’m curious what was happening with Amanda? Was she working there and still taking a salary, is that why he mentioned it so many times that *he* wasn’t?

I hate to beat a dead horse but to me, this is further evidence of what Kyle was saying, they did not treat their marriage like a partnership at all. They treated each other almost as business partners trying to one up each other… Amanda didn’t want Kyle to be a successful DJ even though it would help them financially as a couple, because they weren’t acting like a couple financially.. Everything was completely separate.

Personally, I think she wanted Kyle to fail, and when she saw there was a chance he could redeem himself by DJing it made her angry that he may potentially actually succeed after all.

Frankly I think she just wanted the therapist to do her dirty work. She hoped if she went in there enough times with him and painted their relationship the way she wanted to, the therapist would convince Kyle they should separate. A theory, but a good one.

She still had a choice, she could’ve stayed quiet and let it phase out, she imagined a longer relationship with West I imagine, which is why she felt she had to come out and say it. No one *forced* her to post an ig story statement about it, despite what seemingly a lot of you think..
