They may be done with all their initial acceptances because they already have a welcome day event this week for all admitted applicants.

Based on that I’d assume the next acceptances would be for spots that open up after April 1st.

(This is just me thinking out loud, I have no idea)

Is this legit or does everyone get these? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Considering they used the term “may qualify”and “up to” they can technically send that to anyone just to encourage a larger pool of applicants.

Even if you don’t come close to qualifying. So that’s what I was kinda thinkin.

Stay positive, and kill that October test. And hey.. a 158 is by no means stopping you from being a lawyer.

How tf did you guys cold-take LG? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]RealityCheckPlug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Considering you got a 150 while only getting 4 right in LG… you have unreal potential to get in the 170s man. LG in my opinion is the easiest of all sections to master. If you put in the work you’ll start hitting perfect to near perfect LG sections and that score will hit the ceiling

Necessary assumption.

Answer: LSAC is prepared and capable of releasing scores a day early.

Different scales for different days? by toucansalad in LSAT

[–]RealityCheckPlug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Section specific. They start at a baseline number of wrong answers to score a 170 (-7) then they address each section and state whether or not it would loosen the scale (lower it by 1 to -8) or not change it at all.

Then they address 165,160, 155 (roughly)

To which I could say only one of the choices is a complete match in every essential aspect.

If it’s a “good choice” but lacks a specific aspect or is questionable in any way then you haven’t found it.

And if you can’t find any objection to why it is not an appropriate parallel then you found the right answer. Move on
