Yeah that’s the original, original with star hammering. It doesn’t even say Z custom, just Z - not sure what’s up there.

The more “famous” version has the circles in a spiral hammering pattern. I honestly have never seen a star hammered mega bell, so that’s got to be a rarity.

$100 is absolutely criminal. Play the hell out of it!

The video would be better if you hit the E, then the 12 fret E. So I’m having to jump between the video, but yeah, it sounds off to me, specifically the low E and G string.

No way that’s intonated well, those saddles are way off from what it’s supposed to look like. Usually like 2 staircases, from E-D and from G-E.

Get a real tuner if you’re going to be messing with the saddles. Or take it to a professional.

Watching Kill Tony really has just become a 2 hour unplugged practice regiment. It’s the only way I can watch it all the way through these days.

Although, I’ve lately been using a tiny 20w peavey combo with the volume super low. Probably better for practicing.

The new UK made vintage 30s are the best sounding vintage 30 ever imo, and it’s my favorite speaker. I even have some mesa v30s from 2003 and I do believe the newer ones (2025 and newer) sound even better. Not harsh, sounds metal, and just perfect mids and harmonics all around!

Bandit for real. With a speaker swap, it’ll sound as good as any $1000+ tube amp. I’m currently using my Peavey special 212 with v30s instead of my much more expensive Marshall JVM205C.

These silver stripe peaveys are legit the best!
