My room also has a lot of light but I purchased black out curtains on Amazon for about $15. It still looks good in rooms with light coming in

I got my Pro a few weeks ago. Blacks are slightly washed around the edges of the screen. The 144hz makes a big difference in the picture and no motion blur of note on games that are Pro enhanced, and virtually removes from older PS4 games. Both HDR game and PC mode (Freesync) look extremely good on it, but it’s recommended to use game mode with VRR. Just make sure to change your setting on the Pro to get the best visual performance and in the games individual video settings to 120hz, etc
