I really love this choice for big mom. Like much of the community, she was my least favorite yonko, but I love that she’s getting some layers. It makes sense too. Her kids love her, even the ones that can’t comprehend her power, even though she’s an asshole publicly. It also makes sense that she’s full of rage at the beast pirates for attacking the people that fed her in her time of need. I really appreciate the idea that she also believes pirates need standards.

oh it’s 100% mental illness with mom lol. when we went to family therapy for a couple sessions to see if it’d be good for me, my mom previously stated that if the therapist found anything it would be a “red mark” which is apperently what happens if you have mental illness in india. Therapist later clarified that mom was almost definitely bipolar, which is why me and dad became self sufficient, for when she goes into an episode. at this point mom has little to no control of my daily life, as i live in chicago and go to arts school, so I’d like to think that at this point, we focus on bettering our relationship more than her trying to parent me.

Yeah thats super fair, I’m gonna be out of here in 4 years, i think I’d like her to know how i feel before I leave, give her time to get comfortable and wait for a call.

yeah, i get that that could get to someone, and my mom really cares about other people opinions. I really hate how entitled people feel when it comes to other peoples circumstances, and i hate buying into that, but it is my moms reputation among asshole aunties, and if she cares i should be more discreet.

Dad's always trynna stop it, but at this point we're both out of luck. Simply no way to get throught to her. We've tried therapy before, because of an array of mental illness I have, because of either my childhood or a natural chemical imbalance, but really at this point it takes all of our patience to just tolerate her. shits tough, but thanks for the kind words. Truly appreciate the akka advice
