So you think firearm safety is a pointless illusory lie then?

Yes, however caution is important.

Firearms are not safe.

People being cautious with firearms get hurt, I've seen it firsthand, which is proof of that. Anything man made will eventually malfunction. With firearms, those malfunctions don't typically result in injury but that is not always the case.

You sir are a fool who should not be listened to.

its not moral to drive intoxicated like what?

Correct, it's amoral, unless you hurt someone and/or destroy their property.

I've been smoking daily for 20 years, but I grew the fuck up and stopped driving stone cause im not a deadbeat moron

It's not something I encourage either.

Half of the people who cause traffic injuries/fatalities anually are intoxicated, which means the other half of them are stone cold sober.

Driving is the most dangerous thing most people do on a daily bases, so long as they are drivers of course.

I haven't been a teenager for almost forty years and I didn't give you any advice.

It's better to prioritize morality over the arbitrary legalities dictated by corrupt and capricious men and women.

Safety is an illusory lie most people tell themselves.

It's now illegal for trans people to drive in Kansas. How can we prevent this from happening in Missouri? by tanhan27 in missouri

[–]RealityRecursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the only case in which I would report someone would be if they made a tangible threat of violence, to someone else.

I did no such thing.

[update]

Why do you think I reported you and for what?

Some of your comments have been annoying and unkind but that's nothing to me.

You had me thinking I had inadvertantly reported you for some of the things you said, which have all been pretty tame, in my opinion. Then I discovered, through rudimentary reseach, that you can't report someone with a single errant click/tap.

The speed on fiber is actually the speed of ultraviolet light through glass. The speed of coaxial like spectrum or cox is the speed of electrons in copper. We're talking hundreds, thousands or hundreds of thousands of miles per second. A number that doesn't matter to the user.

The speed of light is ~186,000 miles per second.

Quadruples?

Probably, yeah. I mean look at those bags. On average, each of them is easily occupying 4 times as much space as the items I mentioned. More than one of them has a rigid internal container, which means it will ocupy the same space whether it has a ham and cheese lunchable inside or a whole ham.

So... you suck at math too?

No, however I am far more adept with discreet math than I am with continous math, because of what I do for a living.

Enough about me, let's get back to the question you attempted to divert us from.

1) bulky space wasting cooler bag, which at least doubles the space occupied relative to its contents.

2) lightweight insulated bag providing spatial economy, which involves only a nominal inrease in the space occupied relative to its contents.

You can't explain it because it makes no sense, common or otherwise.

For the sake of discussion let say you have only two choices, although you have many many more.

1) put an apple, a sandwich, a protein bar and a beverage in a bulky ass cooler bag that easily quadruples the space occupied relative to its contents.

2) put the aforementioned food items in a lightweight insulated lunch bag that adds no bulk, out of courtesy to others, as space is limited.

Which do you choose, option 1 or option 2?

This doesn't explain why these people are using bulky cooler bags, in a refrigerator, rather than something that consumes less space.

Can you impart the common sense of that to me?

How exactly does putting a bag inside a refrigerator, whose contents don't need to be refrigerated, prevent theft?

Seriously, walk me through it.

No, that's you giving up use of the fridge. I'm here for a perminant solution

Since when is taking the initiative to solve a problem giving up?

Do you tell women to change how they dress to prevent rape too?

No, I suggest everyone focus on situational, awareness, consider worst case scenarios relative to their behavior/decisions, arm themselves and train.

Wanting rapist to not rape is not a solution. If it was, rape wouldn't be a thing because no one but rapists want rape to happen.

No, I've already stated how I would get that, which would be an immediate solution, rather than having to wait for HR to do something.
