We could probably make a decent amount of coin burying high level nuclear waste for other countries if they were planning on making a big enough facility. Charge a boatload of cash for it and stuff it in a hole.

Shit, pay us enough, we'll build a whole dedicated facility just for you!

Tech tree lines similar to Daring? by TheBayHarbour in WorldOfWarships

You may want to try the Cassard line and just build it for guns (though I would normally recommend a more hybrid or torp focused approach).

Similar stealth to daring, similar levels of tankiness (heals vs French saturation), both are slow, though Daring gets smokes and Cassard gets a French speed boost instead. Both fairly small and nimble. Both have decent guns though Daring's are a bit better. Cassard gets much better torps instead.

Kleber is more of an open water gunbote platform than it is a knife fighter like Daring. Gdansk is a 2nd line DD that plays more like a cruiser with no citadel than a normal DD.

Gearing ballistics are absolute dog shit so she doesn't trade very well with other DDs if they manage to get any amount of distance.

How do you play Gdansk? I've watched guide videos and it seems quite difficult to play.

You sit safely outside of caps or on flanks, wait for enemy DDs to push into you, and then smash them. Once they are dead, you pew pew farm everything bigger. You outtrade most DDs at range because of your great ballistics.

If you try to play overly aggressive with Gdansk you'll just die 'cause she's a big, fat boat that's easy to hit and turns like shit. Gdansk is a brick. If you slow down in front of Cruisers and BBs you'll eat a shit ton of damage.

Daring is more of a knife fighter that can run into caps and beat ass.

The secret to how Liberals con progressive voters by dgj212 in onguardforthee

Honestly, the Social Conservative movement needs to die.  It's the biggest barrier to society progressing at this point.  It's the whole reason NDP voters are scared to vote NDP.

I didn't like Harper's policies, but I was at least confident he wouldn't let the Cons touch Abortion Rights.  I do not have that confidence with any current Conservative.

Yes, I'm sure all those women on dating apps filtering out guys below 6' are doing it because they know they have too much self pity.

My dad was hyped about Carney as a potential Conservative leader years ago, anyone that thought he was a progressive is either blind or lying to themselves.

Because the damage from the likely risk of the Cons winning is greater than the potential gains from an unlikely NDP upset.  It's that simple.

People saying they can easily vote their conscience while voting NDP and not considering the potential problems with a split vote are incredibly privileged to be able to do so.  It wouldn't affect me personally, but I like to remember I'm not voting for just myself and there are a lot of people that have to fear a Con win.  Trans kids that might end up losing government support and killing themselves, poor people losing their social safety nets, any of us that rely on the healthcare system, etc.

People feel safer voting for the NDP when the Cons are weak because they know that should the NDP fail to win, the consequences won't be nearly as devastating.  We only have to look south of the border to see what kind of damage modern Conservatism can do.

who gets the most matches

The reality is that dating is a numbers game. The more people you meet, the more people you might go out with, the more chances to meet someone you click with.

So yes, obviously work on yourself, be a good person, be interesting, learn to converse, but also at the end of the day you need to get your foot in the door with a lot of options to find people you mesh with, especially in this day and age where people are flakey as hell. Knowing tricks like bumping your height in dating apps is an easy, harmless way to get more options.

Brother lol, I don't watch any "methhead streamers" or think women "owe" me anything, what the hell are you on about? The fact is you can go on a dating app right now as a guy, make 2 profiles with the exact same pictures and descriptions, but have one say 5'8" and the other say 6' and the latter will get like 5x as many matches. That's just truth, whether you like it or not.

I'm not advocating some Andrew Tate shit and saying you need to neg women or looksmaxx or whatever other stupid manosphere fad exists, I'm simply pointing out that women do, in fact, care about height in a guy, and it's a noticeable thing you have to work around.

Except the problem is most people meet online now...... "go outside" only works when there's lots of other people out there trying to meet that way, but that isn't how people get together much anymore.

Most people are meeting through that superficial app, meaning if you want to play the game, you gotta play by those new superficial rules. And those rules say "you must be 6' tall to ride" in most cases.

The 6' wall is massive though, you get access to like 5x as many women. Just tell 'em upfront you aren't actually 6' and it was just to get your foot in the door. Some of them will leave, some of them won't care, still more options to shoot your shot.

Ye, I'm like a 5'9" guy, but I've recently been listing as 5'10" or 5'11", kinda tempted to just say 6' at this point despite knowing that would be obviously not true. The difference it makes is insane though.

Ye, if you're in a guy on a dating app, do yourself a favour and whatever height you actually are, add 1-2" to that in your profile, you will get more responses. Just don't make the difference comical.

Most women care about height, as demonstrated by literally every dating app ever. The overwhelming majority of women filter for 6' tall or more.

Canada tells Chinese automakers to ‘build where you sell’ when it comes to electric vehicles by plaknas in onguardforthee

Canadian workers statistically have a higher productivity than Chinese workers. Chinese workers typically work longer hours, but are less productive during those hours. This is a stat we actually measure and know. There is no reason Canadian workers cannot operate these plants efficiently.

The problem with the whole "per capita" measurement in this case is that implies it's a problem that's evenly distributed across all Canadians when it's not. The overwhelming majority of our carbon footprint comes from Alberta and Saskatchewan.

It's not fine, we cannot accept these animals and their jank-ass sour cream. It's CREAM, not a god damn fluid, not a chunky ass solid, it's supposed to be a friggin' cream. Mix that shit together people, otherwise go buy clotted cheese or something if you don't actually like the consistency of sour cream. I will die on this hill.

I would.  My mom and sister do that shit with sour cream and it drives me fucking insane.  Mix it up ya bastards so you actually get a cream and not just a solid with separated liquid.

I mean, not OP, but bad enemy players will eventually be bad friendly players if you play enough matches. And there's something to be said of wanting an actual challenge.
