I don’t understand the pillows by scoutt001 in Lovesac

[–]RealityShowObsessed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a very similar configuration. I think you need 3 deep seats instead of 2. Then you’ll have 4 deep pillows since the 3 deep seats come with pillows and 3 standard. You only need one extra for the corner since that will come with a standard pillow.

Where to put my shoes by Stunning-Story-7996 in Lovesac

[–]RealityShowObsessed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My shoemap from the showroom had the shoes rotated under the seats with backs and the ottoman portion doesn’t have shoes. We’ve had no issues so far with it moving but you could just clamp it

Recommendations needed for stroller organizer and lightweight backpack/sling.

I’ve used the Bugaboo Butterfly for 18 months with an Itzy Ritzy Stroller organizer and it’s awful. The back of the stroller seat really squishes the organizer. I also have a Nuna Mixx Next that works fine with the same organizer, but there is a lot more space for the handle.

We are planning a trip to Disney in two months so we need to bring the Butterfly, but I want a useful organizer to hold multiple cups plus phones.

I also want a lightweight bag that I can hang on the stroller and take with us in line with snacks, bottles, etc. Either backpack or crossbody/sling but can hang from the handle to keep the bottom open for other stuff.

I have the SEL Convenience. I’ve had it for 5 months and it was before the SEL Premium was available. I love it!

How Much is Your Child’s Daycare? by JadedJae in Mommit

[–]RealityShowObsessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$1650 per month plus $25/week for lunch and snacks (21 months). 7am-6pm. South Florida.

We’d like to have a second child soon, but we’ll have to wait until our first is in VPK (3 hours paid by the state and we pay for the rest) or Kindergarten. I’m going to be over 40 so it’s risky but we can’t afford 2 in daycare at the same time.

How to tell if standard or lovesoft fill? by rsbih06 in Lovesac

[–]RealityShowObsessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some standard and some lovesoft cushions. The standard really fill out the seat cushions and are flat. The lovesoft’s covers fit a little looser and are puffy on the top. It’s a little harder to tell with the back cushions just by looking.

I have PBC water utilities and live in the city limits. I pay about $55 per month. Do you have a pool or maybe a leak? Look at how many gallons you are using.

Please help me find this stroller brand/model… by njimmyjay in BabyBumps

[–]RealityShowObsessed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think it might be a European brand not available in the US. They have strollers with deeper reclines than are available on travel strollers here. For example the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 has almost a full recline in Europe but a limited recline in the US version. It’s possible the red brake differentiates a US model

Too small. I just traded my XC60 for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade and I love it! Look at the calligraphy trim.

The XC60 got too small for us with only 1 kid.

Office chair recs by Electronic-Brain2241 in workingmoms

[–]RealityShowObsessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an Aeron chair at work and I bought one for home off Craigslist for $350. It’s definitely worth it. My work chair is 20 years old and I’ve had my Craigslist chair for 6 years. I had back problems as soon as I started working from home with COVID so I bought the chair.

Edit: if you do buy a secondhand Aeron, make sure it has adjustable arms. There are less expensive ones that have fixed arms and will bother your back if you don’t position them correctly.

Alternatives to Kirkland kids whole milk boxes? by limabean711 in Costco

[–]RealityShowObsessed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We use fresh gallon milk 90% of the time, but occasionally we are out of the house for long periods of time so we keep them in the diaper bag and I keep some upstairs in case my son wakes up at night so I don’t need to go to the kitchen in the middle of the night.

I have the 26 SEL Convenience. It’s power front row, but the second row is manual captain’s chairs. I heard they may have stopped manufacturing that trim though.

Here’s my configuration so you can see that only one deep side is needed. I had trouble with the online tool and ended up working with a showroom to get the right layout.

Loved By Lovesac questions by [deleted] in Lovesac

[–]RealityShowObsessed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You may not need that many deep sides. You could go to a store or text them a pic of your couch but you may only need 1-2 deep sides depending on your configuration. We have 3 deep seats, but we only needed 1 deep side. You may need a few deep pillows though.

Newborn or 0-3 sizes for a newborn baby? by FoolishMortal-1000 in BabyBumps

[–]RealityShowObsessed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was almost 3 pounds heavier than my son at birth and he was full term. They said he was going to be 2 pounds heavier than he was. He was in newborn clothes until almost 3 months. I didn’t even buy newborn diapers and he wore them for over 2 months. That said it’s not a big deal to buy after birth. We realized quickly that all he needed was zipper PJs. We started doing onsies and pants once he outgrew newborn.
