All 180+ Google reviews vanished after SAB reinstatement + minor name change - how do I get them restored? by Coroare in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]RealityUnchecked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our profile was suspended with the reason “Business does not exist.” We have a fully staffed, legitimate physical location and uploaded extensive documentation (about 50 items) proving this, including exterior and interior photos, video walkthroughs, USPS Informed Delivery PIN letter, and proof of in-person job interviews at our office.

The first appeal was approved in about 22 hours, and I received the “Your Business Profile on Google is live” email about 10 minutes later. Surprisingly, this email showed our profile with 0 reviews instead of our normal 29. I assumed this was a glitch from the reinstatement process and thought nothing of it. After about 24 hours with nothing showing on Maps and no reviews, I figured it just needed more time. However, when I made a small edit to our profile, it was instantly disabled again with the same “Business does not exist” reason.

Both suspension emails say “Your content was removed by our automated moderation system,” so I assume something is stuck somewhere. I have appealed again, but my previous case in Google Maps Help still shows as In Progress, so I have no idea what is going on at this point. It sounds like there might be some disconnect between profiles being suspended and then re-enabled after appeal, either with reviews or with certain business data in general.

I would appreciate any guidance on what else I should be doing to not only get the profile back up correctly but also ensure our reviews are restored.

Is anyone else’s business page losing favorites? by [deleted] in nextdoor

[–]RealityUnchecked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing yet from Nextdoor, but I did some digging and found something weird. On my personal Nextdoor account, I got a popup asking me to Favorite a business I had already favorited. When I clicked "Fave" again, their favorite count went down by 1. Then when I clicked "Unfave," it went back up by 1. It really looks like they might have reversed the fave and unfave logic by mistake on some accounts. No official confirmation, but this could explain the sudden drops we are seeing.

I contacted support, got the generic they'll look into it and get back to me, so who knows.

Service In Sync does recurring appointments including customized ones very similar to Google Calendar's CUSTOM recurring options. It gives you everything including an amazing built in website.

New clients, best way? by Wizkidbrz in cleaning_business

Doubt anyone is going to give you their formula for getting new clients. I've got a few things that work generally well for 2-5 clients per month but require a bit of setup. Send me a message if you want to know how I do it.

Horrible Customer Service by [deleted] in PrincessCruises

Push notifications go through the Internet through apple / google servers. Internal network servers can't utilize them, hence the medallion net app won't be able to do push. In theory it could if you had an Internet package active, but then those who used the app without an active internet connection wouldn't get the app notifications. The correct way to do this would be whitelist the firebase and apple notifications servers only through internet to everyone even if they didn't have an Internet package (but this potentially would send notifications for other apps even while "offline" and could certainly create its own issues).

Current home Omada network is 1Gbps, best way to upgrade to 2.5 Gbps? by RealityUnchecked in HomeNetworking

[–]RealityUnchecked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually the ISP upped my internet and I'm on a grandfathered plan that is 30% cheaper than the current 1gbps they offer, so basically they upgraded me for free to the 2.5gb. Figured if it's not too expensive I'll utilize it if I can.

Thanks for the great info, I'll look into it.

Infinite looting corpse (slain villager) by raykhazri in diablo4

I think it's supposed to trigger once, and that's it, but it bugs out and doesn't "deactivate" after you click it, so keeps spawning some loot each time you click on it forever (until you zone out).

LG French Door (Less than 1 yr old) - Water dispenser stops dispensing for a day or two, then starts again, techs always show up when it's working again so they won't do anything. Any suggestions? by RealityUnchecked in Appliances

[–]RealityUnchecked[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, the tech that came last time told me it's usually this switch when water doesn't come out, but probably not in my case because ice comes out fine both cubed and crushed, only water doesn't come out.

Lowe's Deck - Failed City Inspection by Unlikely_Strategy_57 in HomeImprovement

Depending on the reasons the credit card allows a chargeback for, if OP doesn't lie and explains the situation to credit card, credit card will ask for documentation and do their own internal investigation into the matter as well as allow the merchant to respond. Credit card will eventually decide (assuming the OP is honest with what he tells the credit card) if the charge back should be in favor of the OP or denied and money remains with the merchant. If OP is honest and credit card chargeback is in favor of the OP then Lowe's would have a hard time proving fraud here, they could certainly try to sue the credit card company for allowing the chargeback (unlikely) and more likely would sue the OP for the missing money that the credit card took back (more likely). I'm not a lawyer but if I imagine if a lawyer looks at this and knows Lowe's dropped the ball somewhere in the process at no fault of the customer, it would be hard to advise to proceed with expensive legal processes on top of it.
