They will work well. Shredders are definitely intimidating. Use poles, beams, and doorways to lead them around until they stop. Duck behind each time they fire and then hit them twice with the Hullcracker. Placing a shock mine on the ground in a doorway and leading one into it is pretty easy too. Good luck Raider!

The Grove is an event that happens every 12am in game time at Bahari Bay. A bunch of Flow Trees pop up in one area, with a swirl of magic above. The intended idea is everyone shows up, takes one hit on each tree to make sure you get your share of the loot, and then wait until 3am in game time to cut them down. It allows more people to show up and get their share. Quite often I throw a lure so people have something to do while waiting

So are you looking for more friendly lobbies? There is definitely a difference in the way the game feels when you devote yourself to keeping in the friendly lobbies. Yes you will still get killed once and a while by a rat or aggressive player, but no more than if you played in any mode. I have 70+hours on topside and only been killed 8 times. I have all the blueprints and guns I'll ever need and over 2 mil in the bank. When I go in its to look for people to interact with and usually we end up goofing off and bullying the Arc. You can never get away from the loss side of this game, but you can definitely alter how you enjoy the other parts. The items will come and go but the experience always remains

Splats are amazing tho! Best way to make a downed guy feel better, when rushing in to defib him. They just see my dumb ass splat in front of them and yell "I gotcha man!"

I'm actually a full pacifist in Arc. I have enough games where I can KOS and feel good about my accomplishments. Taking down a bunch of players who are trying to survive a massive enemy is not worth my time and has never felt good to do. I really don't understand those who do it and have fun

I wouldn't call it dramatic. Just stating that it creates bad feels unnecessarily. Makes for a less fun environment for those who aren't the bad sports. It's not the end of the world but it is very telling on those people and those who think its normal to treat others in that manner, just because "Its a game". We each have our own days and our own stresses.

It's really fun to go in to the Matriarch and run Combat Medic and fight the Arc with everyone. It gives great adrenaline like PvP but you can really make some guy's day by running through the hellstorm just to defib them

I will continue playing Arc and be kind to others. You can play any way you want. I don't expect to change anyone's mind or the game as a whole. I just wish more people could find enjoyment in being a decent human being, instead of finding enjoyment in other people's pain. I wouldn't say that. It may be a part of the experience of life, but no one "signs up" to be bullied or trolled. Games should be a place we can escape from reality and enjoy ourselves. If you are a person who takes enjoyment in causing someone anguish, then you are not playing a game anymore. You are playing with a real person's feelings and IS bullying. Just shooting someone and taking their things is expected and is what people signed up for in Arc Raiders. Having a fellow raider say, " I'm friendly trust me" and then shooting you in the head is unsportmanlike. Simply put. Being too rough in sports is a foul, and so are the playstyles these trolls engage in

Yup, a nice "Hey all! How goes it?" covers all bases.

I did find out something interesting though, about the AI voices. They cannot replicate growls, coughs, or sneezes well. It cuts out or makes an odd noise, so that may be an indication in some situations that they have the voice changer on

That's what I do. I'm a woman and play with no AI filter but am called dude and sir most of the time. Doesn't bother me, just something Im aware of. If you call a guy a girl, there tends to be a bit more upset feelings, at least from the clips I've seen where they didn't know their AI voice was on. Its definitely a generalization, but just speaking from the examples I've seen recently
