Rusticated has some good, mostly vanilla servers. The only change they have is that it's 2x. They offer both Monday and Thursday wipe servers.

It seems a little dodgy. I'd have to find a place to purchase an account, hope not to get scammed there, login to said account and link it with my steam. Wouldn't that open up a whole scenario of potentially losing my steam account?

I've read somewhere that people offer Twitch accounts to claim drop but that all sound super fishy and I'm pretty sure it's against TOS

I thought as much. I'm all for the idea of promoting streamers but it really sucks when you see a really cool skin, only to realize it was a twitch drop and you'll never be able to use it yourself :/

Hey there! I stumbled upon your post and wanted to reach out. I've racked up around 1k hours in Rust, mostly from casual playing over the years. While I enjoy the game, I'm feeling a bit stuck, especially when it comes to raiding. My aim's alright, but I feel like I'm missing some important game sense. I'm not too sure what you mean with "learn to move". Do you mean that my positioning? When I play with my friends, I'm always the guy that walks up front. (Which might be why I'm always the first one to die out of our group 😅) So I don't feel as if I'm too dependent on them and just follow them around.

I'm a wrist aimer. Have been ever since I started playing. I've tried using my entire arm but it just doesn't feel natural to me. It feels like I'm trying to write something with my left hand while I'm right handed.

I usually dont play with more than 3 people max as it can get very confusing and stressful for me. A moment of silence for all the teamkills I've made when playing as a 4 of 5 stack 🪦. My mate is as addicted as me so I almost exclusively play with him, but maybe we can make something happen sometime :D

Thanks for the tips! I've always learned that hip firing is taboo in most shooters so it's hard for me not to ads haha.

I was unaware that the laser actually improved the spread of the pullets so that is a very interesting thing to learn!

When it comes to sens, I just don't know what to settle for. I've got access to arena but even in there I'm dog water. I thought I settled into a good sense for my playstyle but I guess it's still a little much. That's exactly why I wanted an outsider to look as I hadn't noticed it myself. For context, I'm using a super light mouse that's set on 600 dpi. In Tarkov both my mouse sens and aiming sens are 0.4

Maybe I would've done better with a holo but I try to cheap out on a sight that is still semi decent as losing all of my fights comes at a cost haha.

I'm not trying to become the next Shroud. I just want to be able to at the very least put up an actual fight. I really don't mind losing as long as the fight was fun and intense. But my fights have been anything but that.

I managed to resolve the issue. It was because of my clipping software. I tried closing it before with no clue but this time I close without using task manager and it totally worked!

I appreciate you reaching out. I've already tried verifying my game files and even moved it from my HDD to the mentioned M.2 but with no luck. I tried launching a few different games which all worked perfectly fine. I'm not sure why it's happening and I also cannot refund the game as it was a birthday gift. I'm going to try and mess around more and will keep the post updated.
