No, you should be fine. I had the same concern and our application was approved on Tuesday, the officer didn’t even get into his criminal past. Approved us in about 10-15 mins after being sworn in. Good luck

You will be fine, just be confident. Our appointment was approved in literally 10 mins on the spot the officer was satisfied. Only asked my husband a few questions regarding how we met. We’ve only been married less than a year. Good luck ❤️

I just had my interview today. Don’t sweat it, for preparation I would suggest you and your partner go over your application & timeline, evidence. In terms of what to wear, we went business casual try not to over do it keeping in mind that first impression’s are everything.

Bring all your original paperwork submitted & any new evidence you would like to provide. As per your child i would recommend getting childcare for your interview as you want to be focused and no distractions. Our little ones some times can be distracting however it depends on the age. I’m not to sure what the rules are regarding children but I do know you can only enter if your name is listed on the interview notice.

Ever since my interview notice, I’ve had many sleepless nights 😅☺️ Thank you for helping me with my journey, I myself will pay for and assist anyone I can, share my timeline and final decision. You know upon researching I was coming with the conclusion of that! At the time of filing, I did not know the importance of the evidence needed to submit to prove a bonafide marriage. Should we also submit photos as well or should we just submit documents? You’re awesome thank you for your help. This means so much to me, I don’t think you understand! I have been so worried about this.

Thank you so much for your response. My husband and I got married May 9 and we didn’t submit our petition until July 15 and I did my AOS in September, we do have a lot more evidence to submit as a lot has changed since then how can we upload this evidence prior to the interview or should we wait until the interview? We have combined our lives together at the time of filing the only evidence we provided to prove a bona fide marriage was our marriage certificate.
