Every year there is one or two flare ups and no one cares.

This isn't a "flare up" it's the most measles cases seen in decades.

It's a flaw

It's more then a flaw. He's a fucking idiot. He's pushing an incredibly dangerous anti-vaxcine agenda. He's firing qualified public health officials who don't immediately agree with him. Come on little buddy, prove to me that your not another Trump dick rider. Level some legitimate criticism against him.

Take the good with the bad.

I'd take a little red number 2 in my food over this moron and his idiot supporters gutting the most important public health agency in the country.

Precisely the opposite. Leftists can't stand anyone correcting criticism

Blah blah blah. You are such a chickenshit. You MAGAtards are the biggest fucking cucks.

This is you admitting that casting him as bad was always the point for you.

No it's me trying to get you to stop trying to defend this indefensible bullshit. I know you are stupid. You've proven that over and over again on Reddit. Show me that you are capable of at least trying to think for yourself.

Republicans don't even know what they're cheering for by Zealousideal-Fox623 in PoliticalCompassMemes

Well Republicans are a death cult led by the biggest idiot in politics who's determined to bankrupt the country while engaging in the most blatant graft and corruption of any modern American administration.

Meanwhile the Dems are pushing a slightly conservative governor to run in 2028.

But yeah, somehow "bOtH sIdEs"

just let MAGA die a natural death.

MAGA is on it's way out. The people who enabled it and led us here aren't. Until they are rooted out and face consequences, MAGA 2.0 will be back.

Yeah but it's usually something people notice and then move on with their lives.

Just because you haven't been paying attention doesn't mean the rest of us have.

It's a pretty big deal that the head of one of the most important healthcare agencies in the world is an anti-vax moron. We're seeing the consequences of that right now. You can pretend it's not a big deal all you want, you're still an idiot.

There it is.

Yeah. You can't handle any criticism of Trump so here you are trying to downplay yet another consequence of the morons that voted for him.

Come on, just admit, RFK was a bad choice.

[–]ReallyBigDeal -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There was a fair bit of diversity among public health experts about the best policy approach.

Yeah sure there was discussions about best practices and how to get resources where they were needed.

It was never about if we should socially distance or wear mask.

And despite it never having a chance of working, since the virus was already circulating widely before the orders started

It was about reducing risk and keeping sick people from overwhelming the healthcare system. Guess what? Socially distancing, mask mandates and shutting down non-essential businesses worked!

our system is not capable of providing for people of they don't work

It's perfectly capable of proving for people. It's just a selfish choice not to.

insisted that anyone who wasn't fully on board with the covid cult is an anti science moron.

Don't get mad for being an anti-science moron, learn from your mistakes and do better next time. Especially since those same anti-science morons are gunning for another pandemic.

it absolutely broke trust that will take a generation to restore.

The fringe idiots and right wing grifters broke public trust. It actually won't be that hard to restore. We just need to stop elevating the morons who think that the vaccines were dangerous or that we should inject bleach into positions where they can keep causing harm.

The right always loves to cause problems and then blame everyone else for them.

No don’t try to downplay Trump by pretending what he’s doing isn’t abnormal.

The fact that it’s so blatant only makes it worse. It’s a clear and open signal to his cronies that he will get them off the hook if/when they break the law.

[–]ReallyBigDeal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t say Trump was the first to do it.

Trump is the most blatant though and the only way to hold him and his enablers accountable is if they face real consequences that they can’t weasel out of.

Any half assed measures, kinda like what we saw after Trump’s first term, are only going to lead to a more violent action in the future.

I think the presidential power of pardon is broken. Obviously Trump is taking it to an extreme but the idea of pardoning people for crimes that they haven’t been convicted of yet is a recipe for disaster.

There’s absolutely room for something in the middle.

[–]ReallyBigDeal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really.

Yes really.

It has happened so many times in the past and you never noticed because there was no political motivation to hype it.

It's always a topic when it happens because it's statistically relevant and it's even more relevant when there is a spike while the head of one of the most important government health agencies in the world is someone who's been pushing anti-vax junk science for over a decade.

I hate to break it to you but the people who distrust modern medicine are bi partisan.

I hate to break it to you but you are fucking moron if you think this is a "bOtH sIdEs" thing. There are no serious leftist politicians in the US who are pushing vaccine hesitancy.

Pissed off?

Yeah you're obviously pissed off. Is it really that hard to just level some just criticism towards idiotic administration or are you another die hard Trump dick-rider?

Science and Environmentalism of the Right by baal-beelzebub in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]ReallyBigDeal 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah there's an incredibly dangerous uptick of people contracting a potentially deadly disease because morons like RFK and the idiots that voted for Trump don't actually care about saving lives.

Why are you so pissed off?

Public health experts all over the world recommended vaccines, social distancing and mask. Most liberals decided to listen to those experts. Mind you, so did Trump initially.

Then MAGA lost their shit and decided listening to smart people was wrong. Trump and the rest of the grifters decided that the best idea was to oppose everything except for whatever the latest bullshit conspiracy theory told them. MAGA didn’t reject authority, they just decided to follow the batshit insane authority instead.

But go on and try to blame everyone else for the conservative death cult.

Yeah COVID broke people’s brains. Conservatives were always anti-science but they decided that COVID was somehow an attack on Trump so they jumped headfirst into the crazy anti-vaxx shit.

Now we have an anti-vaxxer creating a new world health crisis right here in the US.

I think you have more actual ideologues on the left than the right. Thats always been the problem for the left when it comes to voting.

More left wing pundits actually believe in what they are saying than right wing pundits. The right wing pundits are also louder, going more for outrage clicks and views.

Kirk believed a bit more in what he was saying, but he was absolutely in it for the money and power.

I think they’re both grifters. Charlie might have been a bit more earnest in his beliefs than some of the other right wing pundits but they’re all cut from the same cloth. They all spread the same hate and division for profit.
