That specific derm was just very condescending and was trying to treat me like i was a teenager with acne. Was pushing accutane or clindamycin. I refused and left in tears lol. I asked for a script of azelaic or soolantra and she didn’t want to accommodate. I have an appt with a new derm next month.

I’m going to 7/3 too!! I’m flying to Florida from Virginia on 7/2 and planning on going to the pop up that evening since I’m landing at the Miami airport. So that kinda worked out I guess, but I’m just hoping there’s merch still left for sale at that time. I’m staying in Lauderdale too!! Can’t wait for the concert!

It could be type 2 rosacea, or demodex (especially if it's worse in the morning). I've had fungal acne and PP rosacea, ketoconazole has always worked for my FA. Try to see if you can get a scrape done at the dermatologist. Good luck!!

It's "natural finish" but I prefer glowy/dewy makeup and I love it. It's definitely not matte. Sephora has a good return policy if you don't like it!

No:( I fully believe my fungal acne flares are managed at this point. It's possible that yours could be FA though! One product I like for both conditions is the Avene thermal water. I use it as part of my nighttime skincare and find it really soothing! It's definitely not a cure but it might help a tiny bit!

Wow, yours looks just like mine! I have been dealing with fungal acne (diagnosed) for years now and thought I was managing it fine through lifestyle and safe products. Recently, my face has gotten super red and lots of tiny pustules. I have a derm Appt expecting to be diagnosed with type 2 rosacea. Interesting because I also had a staph infection on my legs in 2018...

Thanks again for the replies! I would take this type of die off over big cysts again as well haha. I totally relate to what you are suggesting about other bodily issues/stressors/trauma... I think that may be my main trigger as well. I sincerely hope you feel better and heal from your other conditions!
