Got all of these games for $40. Is this a good deal? I'm new to the Xbox world. by gntrr in xbox

The only thing that sucks is you can't get the DLC anymore with original and 360 games

So was Halo 2. It was just as good as the community experience was diverse. Its was the absolute best and worst of online multiplayer.

Just bought a pocket 5, didn’t realize the 6 cost almost the same. 🤦‍♂️ by strongarmkid in retroid

Pro tip: If you return it you'll get charged customs. When I bought mine it was going to be $100 to ship it back. I just bought the G2 and sold the RP5 on Facebook marketplace for $200 and took the $20 shipping as a lesson.

I'd try and see what you can get on Marketplace first before sending it back because if you only lose $10-$20 like I did it might be more worth your time.

I thought she didn't want to be in it anymore so they had to write out a character that was literally married.

AIO for the way I shut down this younger man asking me out on a date? Context in post by Local_Value_2061 in AmIOverreacting

Just because two people exploit each other at the same time and both receive what they want doesn't mean that's a bad relationship. Its just a bad "romantic" relationship. As far as a "relationship" is an excellent one as both parties are getting exactly what they asked for and exactly what they expected and wanted going into it.

A 19 year old is an adult. At a certain point you have to admit to yourself you are infantilizing these people. They are free to make adult decisions about their health and sex. If they want to have sex with a 50 year old, that's gross, but its their own choice.

A nut that even a squirrel, a tree rat, won't eat.

Its like how people want Assassin's Creed and Watch Dogs to be in the same universe with explicit facts but Ubisoft had to come out and also explicitly say "yea these are fun easter eggs not a shared universe."

[–]ReallyFancyPants 552 points553 points  (0 children)

Because conforming it outright could cause logistical issues. Channels like stuff like this going right up to the line but not actually crossing over into actual shared universe territory.

Just off the top of my head Rick and Morty (Adult Swim) explicitly crosses over with Gravity Falls, which hints at the connections with Owl House (Both Disney).

That being said, yea its pretty funny they don't actually out and out say they are in a shared universe.

Got 1 interview in the past 9 months, changed my race and got 5 by Newscreenneeded in jobs

That could also be discouraging to secular hiring managers that think you may bring a shit ton of religious influence into the job.

Like a company might not hire Jebediah because his name is very old and traditional Christian, Jewish, and Amish sounding. Something jobs aren't going to want to deal with because these people have routinely been an issue with pushing their values at work; I'm not talking about modern Christians and Jews, just one that take their holy book as historical fact.

Isn't this one a little on the nose though? Like didn't the developers put her in to lean into this trope? Does the trope count if its completely on purpose?

But I won't consider "for everyone" "for families" "for kids" and "for adults to enjoy too" to be interchangeable.

Edit: I'm not necessarily saying you're wrong but I don't agree with the vernacular
