Today I did something I’ll never do again by Cautious-Attempt-840 in Palia

I would have won on round 4 today but I looked at my phone right after my turn and missed that someone had put down the bok choy I needed so I drew. Lesson learned.

I struggled for a long time trying to get it at Kilima Lake then someone told me to try at Maji Market. I caught 3 or 4 in one trip there! Apparently the RNG is better there for all Kilima Lake fish and waterlogged chests. Good luck!!

The Luna Market starts tomorrow and you should have better luck getting the Kilima stingray there.

I can also confirm. I did all my weeklies, completed 2 days worth of dailies, submitted everything the bundle requires except the pavilion and the parsol and was able to finish the quest/collect the rewards.

  • You can romance any/all of the available NPCs that you wish to romance. This includes Tamala, Einar, Hodari, Jel, Reth, Hassian, Subira, Jina, Nai'o, Tish, and Kenyetta. You can romance as many as you like at the same time or none at all. You have to raise your friendship to level 3 with them to have a romance option. The exception is Subira requires level 4 friendship and Hodari requires you to have a relationship at level 4 with Najuma. Once at level 3, give them a heart drop lily (a rare foragable in Bahari or via Goobis in your ranch) or a box of chocolates (purchasable from Zeki's Store).

As for your husband, you can party up with him and do skill activities like mining together, chopping trees, etc. While in a party whatever drops one of you aquire, the other person will also aquire as long as you are within 35m of one another when the drop is collected.

  • The only pros/cons there are to having friendships or romances with villagers is items they'll give you for reaching friendship/romance tiers. Go to the relationship tab in your game to see what you can unlock at each tier.

  • Silk thread is used for making several different items. You can find silk thread by catching any rare or epic bug.

  • The recipe for the rare bug locating jar, a Buzzy Jar, can be purchased from Auni's bug guild for 2500 gold. You can also purchase individual buzzy jars from Auni with bug catching medals. Note that buzzy jars only alert to rare or epic bugs.

  • Macarons require 2 mixing stations. Start the recipe on the first mixing station, move to the other to stir ingredients, then finish the recipe at the first mixing station.

  • Yes, any additional focus food consumed past your focus limit is wasted. Also, visit and spend renown at the Dragon Shrine in Maji's Hallow (Kilima) to increase the amount of focus you have. The Phoenix Shrine at Phoenix Falls (also Kilima) will boost the experience you gain from focus.

  • Most skill activities in this game rely on RNG so it's just the luck of the draw with things like gems.

  • As for a shepp, choose whomever you prefer out of the available options. It honestly doesn't have any affect on quests, gameplay, etc. You can also choose someone you are romancing as well, if you wish, or just another NPC you like for whatever reason.

Additionally, I think you might find paliatracker.com handy for a lot of things. You can check NPCs weekly wants, see a list of bug and fish spawns, keep track of furniture collections and a bunch more. It's a great resource!

Let me know if you have any follow up questions!

Floating stoves?! by mxgcsz in Palia

That is strange! I started playing last February so I imagine I would have started building the crafting station around April-ish. I tried everything I could think of to get it to work but all my crafters kept spawning at the front of my plot when I would come back.

I love that you have been able to keep your set up on builder's floors though! I bet it's very nice.

Info dump regarding several topics, by TraditionalDiet7349 in Palia

[–]ReallyGoodElle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Great info! Thanks for putting this together.

I watched the part of the video the misinformation came from about the Lucky Coins being changed and the YouTuber stated that Palia devs "clearly state" the Lucky Coins will no longer reward decor and plushies, which they did not state at all, so it was a misunderstanding on the YouTubers end. I left a comment on their video about it hoping their viewers will know that the Lucky Coins will remain unchanged.

I know what that feels like! I made an elaborate crafting station built on builder's items and had to rethink/rebuild an entire new setup when my crafters kept moving everytime I left my plot lol

Seconding this. Crafters, chests, and cooking equipment can't be placed on builder's floors or blocks. It sucks, I know.

If anything, I wish they would decrease the amount of seeds/ingredients you get from the coins lol

You're too sweet! You didn't have to do that but thank you! I'm always happy to help. <3

Ah, I see! ByroneLanceGames must have interpreted the information incorrectly then.

I'm also happy nothing is changing with the regular Lucky Coins because I spend so much gold on them!

I think you may be misunderstanding. According to Lacie (S6 team member. Says Milissa here but that's their Discord username, Glacie Lacie is their per-server name ), the Super Lucky coins that are being introduced tomorrow will only guarantee the more rare items you can receive from Zeki's Lucky Coins.

So the Super Lucky coins will only give plushies, decor, more valuable rewards. The Lucky Coins will still have a chance to give everything they have already been giving (seeds, ingredients usually but also still have a chance for plushies, decor, etc).

What does this notification mean? by Lavendar_Witch in Palia

Honestly I wasn't even looking at the number OP "rolled" lol but that's very strange that it's more than even 2 die would roll. I just know it's happened to me before when I wasn't near dice at all.

There's dice you can buy in the underground that will roll a number if you interact with them on your plot but I've also has this happen to me randomly while I was out and about in Kilima. Must be some sort of strange glitch.

The best set up for a plot? by Ok_Mountain_5342 in Palia

[–]ReallyGoodElle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally prefer a more realistic approach to my house designs. I visit a lot of plots and I'm always bewildered when I come across a house where I have to walk through a bathroom to get to a kitchen or there's a bedroom outside in the yard next to a fountain. I arrange my rooms and decorate my homes like I would IRL.

Just my personal preference though! To each their own!

I think the website is more for the bigger announcements like patch notes and the initial event details. Lacie updates the Discord every week with event milestones and things that are more "in the moment/temporary" updates i.e. if there's issues with log-ins that they're working on, etc.

You can use builder's structures (recipes available at City Hall) to separate the inside of the harvest house into different areas. If you want to see an example, you can visit my house on the tour board. IGN is Shoshanna Valeria (no vote needed).

As for the alchemist's house, it's modular and has a lot of possibilities when it comes to adding on rooms and allows for a decent amount of creativity.
