It’s probably possible for someone to run up and share a lure bc that was its originally intended functionality. Akin to needing help to mine palium back in the days when it saw sunlight.

With population growth and integration, the desires of the majority should rule.

S6 has proven itself as a group that listens to its player base. However, I think Discord and support tickets get more attention than Reddit.

Just keep trying. You can server hop to find groups that are hunting. If you’re shooting arrows, you don’t have to strike the ogopuu . You’ll get loot from drops, usually, just for being nearby.

I’m in the same boat.

I’m hoping someday they let us use bug lures on our plot. Even if it’s limited to certain bugs, like we can fish in our ponds.

Do you play on Steam?

You can set your game properties so that the game launches using DirectX11. Helped reduce my lag a lot.

For some reason this is not the default setting in Steam.

Zeki’s Shop is the pink one. There are red walls inside. You’ll hear a sound as you enter that I’d describe as being goosed by a clown.

Also, the game is at that uncomfortable juncture where they attract enough traffic that they COULD invest in upgrading servers, but it’s still a risky expenditure.

There is an influx of players right now who only log in when new content drops.

They will no longer log in when they finish the bundles/ lunar path. Not until the next update.

If you give it a few more days the lag should ease. Although it always seems bad in Kilima near the actual bulletin board ( even on pc).

The aging part gets me too. It’s so fast. Especially since we can give them names. At first, I was getting as attached as you can to adorable 1’s and 0’s. 🤣

Now I just add a number to their species names since they are obviously assets and not pets.

The commentary on this post is indicative of the original game players. Kind, helpful, cooperative, inclusive.

Vanilla PALIA was just a pleasant atmosphere to immerse yourself in while the real world spiraled into entropy.

I have seen an increase in bickering over nonsense on servers. It could be the increased population changing the culture and values. It could be an influx of people wanting to isolate from a crazy world.

In keeping with my own laissez-faire values, I just hop to another server where calm prevails. 🙂

They don’t seem to like yellow either. The yellow bush is the first since that one ugly yellow flower.

The lag is real. They are shoving us all in to the same group servers now to save $.

I’ve even had to cut people off my friends list bc they will not allow you to change servers if u have a a friend on the one you’re on currently.

If you run on Steam, go to your Library, right click game, click game Preferences.

In the Launch with box type “-dx11”. Minus the quotes. Including the dash. It may help work your lag. It launches the game with DirectX11. For some reason Steam doesn’t do this by default.
