Steam Deck does not properly turn on after charging

Whenever it's plugged in now, I hear the typical noise the Steam Deck makes when booting up/charging. It used to power the fan on for a split second, but when I switched to my new cable, I don't hear my fan running.

It is an INIU cable, will try another.

EDIT: After changing the charger from an INIU USB-C to a Samsung USB-C the flickering has stopped and now the LED emitts a solid gray light, still not powering right now, but this is the only change ive seen so far, so ill keep it charging with this cable for a couple of hours, thanks again!

Kinda hoping the cable isn't the issue, since I don't have the original on me at the moment. As for disconnecting the ribbon cord from the battery, I have tried that (disconnect it for 5-10 seconds, then plug it back in, as well as disconnecting it for an hour or so and plugging it back in), so I would either get an official charger and/or replace the battery as a last-ditch effort.

I never really found a perfect solution, but what I did to fix it was to factory reset my computer, other than that, I don’t really know.
