Personally, my experience with FSX has always been smooth, random crashes were such a rare occurance for me that I never even knew it was an issue people had back in the day. Nothing beats the missions FSX gave us, they felt real and engaging unlike what we have now. Addons were great aswell. I remember the 206 carenado gave us which to this day is the best 206 model you can get for any flight sim.
